Charged me 600.00 for an alternator and 500.00 for a battery, changed my headlight bulb and drilled oil dipstick out of my C2019 Chrysler 300 and my bill was 1700.00. Don’t use these guys! I was ripped off big time. I have much and this really set me back. Wish I would have researched. I feel had. Hahaha nice reply. I wasn’t plan on bringing it back buddy. Hope nobody else does either.

It’s such a frustrating thing to find oneself in a situation where your vehicle has broken down, and on top of that, you’re having to worry about dealing with unreliable, untrustworthy and dishonest mechanics! It just adds to the already existing stress! Thankfully, that’s nothing that I can say about this place! It’s a family run business, truly honest and professional! Even when they are behind, they find a way to work with you! Also, they offer a courtesy car while working on yours! Something that nowadays just isn’t common! Really fairly priced and everything is put on paper for you to see! I recommend this place! And always will! In a heartbeat!

Dan, owner operator and his lovely wife Michelle who runs the front desk are the most dedicated couple building a renowned word of mouth automotive business. Why, because when you fall in love with a trade like Dan has, the outstanding devotion I’ve experienced with him has been way above board with integrity. Fixes only what needs fixing with clarity of recommended attention to maintenance suggestions and better yet, identifies a combination of issues related to what you may have you came in for. This is ensuring you will always reach point “B” in all your travels. Vehicles are vehicles and unfortunately they break down even if KERN MOTORS worked on it but rest assured, if Dan felt remotely responsible for a workmanship error, he would be all over it with upmost accountability. So if parts fail, that’s under a different warranty. All I know, this man sources parts from all angles supplying you with minimal options and confidence where he will offer cost savings with the best product possible. Who does that? Only Dan with a supportive set of colleagues and resources in this industry that he created and resourced special for you and I. That complements the ease of their unseen side that nobody recognizes. I did and the top supportive businesses that KERN MOTORS may be limited to provide, they all recognizes Dans professionalism while having the privilege to positively gossip about him and his business. So, for my personal experience with a no nonsense individual “that’s the facts jack” quality as I see it. I was so happy to go there as a first time customer 2-3 years ago to try KERN MOTORS local to Cedar which I suggest going out of your way to have the best knowledgeable honest mechanic work on your vehicle. I’ve only received 110% satisfaction with personalized communication. Now, Dan handles all my business fleet of vehicles, trailers and personal vehicles being a certified Commercial Vehicle Inspector. So if you made it this far with my review; all I can say is that the facility is impeccable and when available, they incorporated an assortment of perfectly embarrassing safe courtesy cars if needed that I proudly drive on occasions when needed. Dan & Michelle with their staff do more than most know which is why I had to share my appreciation which is a rarity with such quality, commitment and integrity I personally received. Best rounded company going above and beyond in this service industry. I ensure my 04 and 12 Dodge vehicles look good but these folks ensure they run good. Dan Kern is Amazing! Just before closing time, I showed up ... my car was suddenly misfiring... in just a couple of minutes, Dan diagnosed the problem.... rats had chewed sparkplug coil wiring and connector... Dan immediately gave me a loaner car (it takes off like a shot - and I guarantee you won't be ignored on the streets)... I had my car back by mid-day today in great shape.. The best thing about Dan is that I can absolutely trust him.... not only does he know what he's doing, his honesty and integrity are super evident...bottomline, he's just a really good Guy!!
