I called Kamloops Pediatric Dentistry when we discovered my 5 year old had a fractured tooth after a playground slip. They got me in the same day for an assessment and then followed with a procedure to extract the tooth at the same visit. The staff was so friendly and made both of my kiddos feel very comfortable (I had to bring my 7 year old along as well). Dr. Campbell has wonderful bedside manner and explained everything very thoroughly. All in all a great experience during a stressful situation.

Edited: Kamloops pediatric dentistry completely rectified their billing error on my account. I now owe nothing. Aside from the billing error and the lack of greeting us, the work done by the dentist was professional and proficient. I was informed staff would be talked too. Happy customer! Customer services skills suck. Everytime I walked in they would not greet us, then when I go talk to them while they talk to each other laughing. The 3 ladies at the front talked with zero enthusiasm or courteous welcome. I mean if you don't like your job find a new one! I was referred here for my 6 year old!! Having your kid put under for any surgery is already scary in a parent's eyes then having to go to a place of business where they don't welcome you and make you feel safe with your child!? While about to drop 6000$ for this surgery. Before we left this dentist I paid them in full. After Asking them a second/third time if that was it! They said. Yes, That's everything. They said. Yes you are paid in full. Your band covered some, DIA covered some, your job covered some and then you paid the remainder which I fundraised for!! Now 5 months later they message me and say I owe another $618+ dollars for a drug they now say they used on my kid but does not show on the receipt they sent!? We made sure to ask him what kind of drugs they were using on our kid before they used them because we were scared. They said they're going to put him under sedation and they're going to use nitrous oxide and that was it. If anything comes to worsen they would have to give him something else but at the end they said they did not need too and everything went well. My previous receipt says I paid for all the nitrous oxide and sedation. Those are the only drugs on the paper, we were not givin a prescription for pain or anything after but told to go buy some ourselves. That should be the end of it. You do not contact a paid in full customer 5 months later and be like hey yeah actually you still do owe us now...... I was Notified July 20th 2025 about a new remaining balance. 1 month later, August 20th 2025 they sent a treat email saying if I don't make a payment they are sending my amount owing to the collection agency!!? 2 weeks later my son's "bridge" fell out!

This clinic is wonderful. The staff are lovely and are so great with my kids. Dr Jon is very kind and explains the procedures he’s about to do so my daughter knows whats happening. My daughter’s tooth was bothering her and they got her in same day. They accommodated my other daughter by putting on a show for her and letting her pick out a prize. It’s the small things that count

Our experience was fantastic. I got the referral for my daughter to have sedation to have an extraction there. I called them, got an appointment really quick. At the week after I called again to ask about the appointment for the surgery and they got us in for the next week. So over all, the appointments were quick. They explained everything and took care of my child very well. I really recommend them.

I was shocked by the way this clinic treated me and my son. They told me to exit only through the back door cause they were afraid that I'll scare their customers. So I had to do it carrying my 6-year-old son after the surgery under pouring rain. My experience was very frustrating. The staff forced us to go through the back door, where is no convenient parking available. I have carried my son after surgery and I had to go around to my car soaking wet in the pouring rain. They would not let us go through the normal entrance, because it would "scare the clients off", well it did scare me off as a client. Not going back there again. This is ridiculous.
