On Jan 21, 2026 I had an unsettling and horrific experience with Kamal. I first met Kamal on Jan 18 after my eyebrow appt. She seemed very pleasant and overly familiar. Kamal described her spa services, holistic approaches etc. She seemed like a genuinely nice and sincere person. For that reason, I asked her about hair services particularly dying my white hairs and an authentic blow out. Kamal assessed my hair, provided prices and assured that both services can be done. I have very basic hair (almost black curly Indian hair – nothing fancy). On the day of my appt I was greeted by Sukh who dyed my hair (I did think that Kamal would be doing my hair as Sukh is the receptionist/does threading, however my fault for not confirming during time of booking). Sukh was inexperienced and unqualified to be performing these services. It felt like I was Sukh’s first hair client. She accidently ran the water hose across my face while washing my hair. My roots were colored a medium brown, while the remainder of my hair was black. During the “blowout” I had to provide instructions. At this point, I advised Sukh that my roots are brown, and my whites are still showing. She proceeded to call Kamal and that is when all hell broke loose. I calmly raised my concerns to Kamal and instead of professionalism and accountability, Kamal became rude, defensive and started yelling at me. I was spoken to in a condescending and aggressive way that no paying customer should ever experience – especially when the mistake was theirs. Kamal stated, “it doesn’t look that bad” and “we will offer you 50% off your next colour”. When I declined and was visibly upset, Kamal stated “we are still getting to know your hair” and can give you 10% off. I told her that if you couldn’t dye my roots the same colour then I never would have booked here, she responded with “all you girls are entitled nowadays and just want free services”. I was appalled. Kamal NEVER apologized, kept yelling “what is your solution” and “I have other customers here!”. I told her I would pay for half and will not be returning. As I gathered my belongings and walked outside, there were customers in the waiting room when Kamal, in an attempt to humiliate me shouted “SO YOU DON’T WANT TO PAY?”. Calmly, I reiterated the conversation in the room, the displeasure of my service and terrible experience to which she said “we will charge you half off hair color only”. She charged me $35 for colour and $60 for blow dry (not blow out). I asked for a receipt and she said it would be emailed. I was so mortified from being yelled at in front of workers/clients that I paid and left. It was at home I noticed there was no 50% discount, only $15 discount. Kamal is a disgusting, unhinged and disturbed woman that does not care about her clients. My heart goes out to her staff that she clearly treats like servants. I left feeling embarrassed, Disrespected and completely taken advantage of. A salon owner should not be responding to a customers concern with hostility and yelling. Kamal, essential oils will not fix your mental health issues. Take care of yourself and try to find some peace and happiness.

My best friend was visiting and we decided to treat ourselves to a spa afternoon. We had massages and custom facials and we had an amazing experience. We left feeling relaxed, pampered and glowing, I will definitely be treating myself more often.

I recently started coming to Ruby at Kamal's Day Spa for Eyebrow Threading & Tint and she has completely transformed my brows! She is always so kind and makes sure you are comfortable and happy with the service. Her attention to detail is amazing and she has such a kind gentle personality. I always enjoy chatting with her and I love getting my brows done by her!

I had an amazing experience at Kamal’s Day Spa, thanks to Ruby! She was incredibly professional, kind, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire service. Her attention to detail and gentle approach really stood out. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and well taken care of. Highly recommend booking with Ruby if you’re looking for excellent service and a truly relaxing experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had an amazing experience at this salon! Kamal is incredibly professional and truly knows how to explain her services in detail. She’s very knowledgeable, which made me feel confident in the treatments I was getting. This is definitely the best place to go for a variety of services, especially massages and facials. I had a fantastic massage from Ruby, and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was relaxing, and I felt so well taken care of. If you're looking for a place for self-care, I highly recommend this salon!❤️❤️
