We absolutely loved JuMi as our wedding photographer, our photos look like they're straight out of a magazine. They are your only choice for editorial style photos! We were connected with Jun through our wedding planner and he was wonderful to work with. We booked him for pre-wedding and full wedding day (getting ready, ceremony and reception) photography. He is friendly and chill, with a creative eye for detail. He is very responsive to any questions plus the process to book and then communicate the details of our wedding to ensure he understood the photos we wanted was super easy and well organized. Neither of us are models but Jun knows exactly how to direct you to get the best shots.

So here's the story: my now-husband and I were planning on doing a destination wedding for various reasons, and we had the hardest time narrowing down locations and venues and were just getting super overwhelmed, and I don't think Vancouver was even super on the radar. But then we found the Hycroft brochure somewhere and it had a bunch of JuMi photos in it, and I was like 🤯😩🥹... THAT is what I want. So yeah, we had our wedding at Hycroft, and we made sure Jun was free that day before I booked. Jun was absolutely a pleasure to work with in every way. He's super responsive and friendly, extremely professional, and most importantly, knows how to make two kind of awkward people look amazing. His direction is super precise, which is exactly what we needed, and on the day of the wedding, he was so on top of it. If you like editorial photography, there's no one who quite does it like him! He has such an artistic eye and it's kind of a joy to watch him get brain blasts. (For example: he (jokingly) stole my shoes at the cocktail hour because a shot occurred to him and he cannot be stopped. The next time I saw him he was on top of the fire escape.) We did both the pre-wedding photoshoot and also the wedding day and I included a couple shots from each on this post. Special shout out to the flatlays too. I'm a big lover of flatlays and am so thrilled with how ours came out! If you're looking for a photographer, we cannot recommend Jun highly enough!

Before we even started planning our wedding, we stumbled upon JuMi's work and immediately fell in love. His style was so artistic and editorial, and it really stood out from any wedding photos we've seen before. We had no clue about anything else, but we knew for sure that we wanted him to be there! We made absolute sure to check that he had the date available before locking it down with our venue, and by some miracle, he did! Jun has a great eye, and he brought such good vibes to the day. He and his second shooter Sheldon were amazing at somehow getting us (both admittedly rather stiff and camera shy people) styled and posing comfortably. I swear you could see inspiration strike Jun as we walked by different locations during our shoots! It was genuinely a blast to have them both with us the whole time, and they got us our album back so quickly ❤️ We even got to be the first ones to test out his new drone, which turned out soo cool. Jun and Miya seem like such a fun and sweet couple, and we're so glad to have found them!! We'll definitely keep a lookout for what other incredible things they both come out with next ☺️☺️

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jun as our photographer, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, Jun was professional, kind, and so easy to work with. He has a great eye for capturing natural moments, and every photo turned out beautifully — full of warmth, detail, and emotion. Jun also made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, which really shows in the photos. His creativity, patience, and attention to detail truly set him apart. I had the most amazing experience with my photographer Jun and makeup artist Momo for my pre-wedding photoshoot! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, confident, and absolutely beautiful. Momo worked her magic with my hair and makeup—everything looked flawless and lasted all day. She also made sure I was comfortable the entire time, helping with touch-ups and small details so I could fully enjoy the shoot. Jun has such an incredible eye for capturing genuine emotions. He brought so much personality and creativity into every shot, making the photos uniquely ours. He guided us perfectly, but also let us be ourselves, which really came through in the pictures. Both Jun and Momo were so attentive to every little need, whether it was adjusting my dress, fixing a hair strand, or keeping me relaxed and smiling. The whole day felt fun, stress-free, and truly special thanks to them. If you’re looking for a team that is talented, caring, and passionate about their work, I cannot recommend Jun and Momo enough
