From the moment my husband and I connected with Mohit, we knew he was the perfect person to capture the most important weekend of our lives. We wanted to have our Banff destination wedding photographed by someone who understood the nuances of South Asian culture - yet allowed us to express our individuality in a bold and cinematic way. When we first reviewed his portfolio, I gravitated immediately to his editorial-style and dramatic shots. A few months after connecting, my husband and I decided to do an engagement shoot and had the most incredible experience with Mohit! He was funny, kind, easy to talk to, and highly thoughtful in dealing with us. Mohit truly got us outside of our comfort zones to help capture the most beautiful shots we’ve ever seen. This left such an impression on us since we traveled all the way from NY and NJ for our photoshoot and didn’t know what to expect. For our wedding weekend, we were more than pleased with his work. Mohit went above and beyond to make me feel like a complete Queen for all of my events. For our Great Gatsby welcome party night, he captured some of the most jaw dropping shots I’ve ever seen - they look like they’re straight out of a movie! Mohit was by our side every step of the way and we couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our wedding weekend. Overall, Mohit is a remarkable artist, professional, and human! Going through our wedding gallery made us feel every single emotion..all thanks to his dedication and passion for storytelling through photography. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Mohit for both our pre-wedding shoot in Oxford, UK, and our four days of wedding celebrations in Calgary. We could not be happier with the entire experience and the stunning photos he captured. From the very beginning, Mohit made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. Neither of us are naturally comfortable being photographed, but he guided us through every step with warmth, patience, and professionalism. During our pre-wedding shoot in Oxford, he took the time to understand our story and vision, and the photos turned out so dreamy and timeless. Mohit is the absolute best. He is incredibly talented, but also such a fun person to have in your corner for your big day! The nerves as a bride/groom are already on a high for the wedding weekend, but someone like Mohit is always there to lighten the stress and ensure you're having fun. His talent with photography is next level and both Navid and I couldn't be happier with our photos. Mohit has been such a gem to work with. He's the one vendor that I knew would always go above and beyond. From planning our destination shoot to styling to everything about the mood board. I honestly can't say enough good things about Impressions by Mohit Photography! He shot our engagement pre-shoot in Vancouver as well as our destination wedding in Cabo, and I am beyond thrilled with the results. From the very first moment, Mohit made me feel like a bride in every sense of the word. He also has this incredible ability to make you feel so comfortable and confident while still capturing the most beautiful, artistic moments. One of the highlights during our wedding week was a stunning photoshoot on the famous Cabo rocks. His creativity and attention to detail were unmatched, and I could tell he really understood what I was envisioning for our photos. He knew exactly how to guide my husband Akash and I with poses and made us feel like the best versions of ourselves. I also had the dream of getting some shots at the nearby Nobu resort, but things weren’t going as planned. We weren’t technically allowed to shoot there, but Mohit and his team went above and beyond to make it happen! He actually vouched for us, worked his magic, and somehow got us in. It honestly felt like he was my fairy godmother, making sure I got every shot I wanted—even when it seemed impossible. That kind of dedication means everything!
