I love this place. I'm a lady who always gets a man's haircut and Wendy always cheers me on and does what I want without trying to discourage me from getting a man's hair cut. I've had this problem many times other places and this is why I keep coming back!

This review is in regards to a stylist working at the salon. I would NEVER recommend Misty Wind for her “expertise” in helping transition to grey hair, or going grey. I am absolutely heartbroken and furious about what happened to my hair here. I trusted this hairdresser after she promised — repeatedly — that my hair’s length and strength would not be compromised. She even claimed it was part of her method of “low and slow” which was her hook and reel to a guarantee to not compromise length and strength of your hair. After paying almost $1,500, my hair is now destroyed: the length I worked so hard to grow is gone, the strength is completely shot, and I’m left with brittle, broken hair that will take years to recover. What makes this so much worse is the attitude I was met with afterward — zero empathy, zero accountability, and zero compassion. It felt like my devastation didn’t matter at all. No apology, no care, just complete disregard for the damage she caused. Keep in mind, I had a consultation before booking to discuss the length and strength of my hair before booking. This has been an awful, emotional experience, and I would never want anyone else to go through what I am going through right now. If you value your hair — and your peace of mind — stay far away from Misty Wind Hair Ninja…Pictures show the day I left, the length of my natural hair and all the damage after and continues to break.

I enjoyed my various experiences getting my hair trimmed, cut, and/or styled over the various years. I highly recommend Misty and James as your stylists. You will not be disappointed. I also have had great customer service when I’ve dropped in to get my daughter’s hair cut by multiple stylists since she was two years old.

This is by far the best salon I’ve ever been too! I’ve spent years trying to get the right blond color I wanted, and Both Misty and Britney know how to work with my hair and achieve the results I want! My hair is also much healthier with the treatments they suggested. They are so friendly and professional! I love the ambience and the feeling of being home when I go there! The owner is fantastic and I would never go elsewhere for my hair!
