I hate leaving bad reviews but I’m hoping this will somehow get their attention. My son has loved his experience with this gym, despite us as parents, having a few reservations. We have been there for almost a year. My son has asked a couple of times about whether he can move up a class or when and they have just brushed him off telling him they will let him know when he’s ready. There’s been no guidance on what he could do to help improve or get to that point. There’s classes are run by kids in high school for the most part, who have seemed good, but there’s no administrative support at all. The classes run back to back so it’s difficult to even ask them questions. Now, we have had to take a pause in membership, and the website clearly states you can do that for up to two months. I have reached out three times now. And just like it was when we started, we get no responses. My second email I did receive a “I’m so sorry I’ll look into it” over a week ago. I emailed again earlier this week and still no response. If you are thinking about joining I would say, don’t have high expectations and only pay for the punch pass. I’m feeling like I will be having to call my credit card company in order to have future payments stopped because they clearly don’t have the time to check and respond to emails.

Honest review for the Juniors classes hosted by this gym. 1) not transparent from the beginning. We signed up our 10 year old boy for a few months via a monthly membership. The classes can accommodate 20 kids however there were 23-24 kids who were signed up at the same time we were. You are responsible to book classes in advance but there is a chance that if you forget or are too late, EVEN THOUGH YOU PAID your child cannot attend because the class is “full”. Full in quotation marks because even though people sign up, many kids arrived late or were no-shows and no one monitors this. You do not get the full benefit of attending all classes. Which hurts the kids more than parents. 2) the gym is in poor condition. It smells like feet constantly, floors and walls haven’t been washed in years and the decor is clearly random gifts given to the owner that are haphazardly installed. 3) the trainer is a joke for this class. 1 trainer vs 20 kids. There is 30 mins of warm up and 30 mins of practicing moves. She gives a quick demonstration of what moves to practice and then lets the kids do what they want, while she plays around with the music selection on her phone. She doesn’t really watch the class. There was a handful of times I saw her interact with the kids on the floor to fix their form or offer advice. A handful of times out of 24 classes we attended. There is also no structure to this class. No way to track progress or development. It’s kids aged 10-14 throwing hands. 4) no one attends the front desk.its purely for show. Any potential walk in clients or someone with a question are also attended to by the trainer on site which again, takes away from the kids in the class 5)trying to get a hold of the manager or owner will take about 3 business days. Maybe more if they haven’t fixed their website bug yet. Clearly this gym isn’t their priority and they have regular jobs they attend to first. 6)the owner allows his buddies free reign to the gym/workout bench’s area so there’s always a few grown men working out while classes are conducted and they also enjoy conversing with the instructors. Further taking away from the kids Please note: the rave reviews on here are from folks who pay for private classes or are in classes that are instructed by the owner Lucas or are buddy buddy with him. And do not provide a honest assessment of this gym.

A bunch of us have started training with the group @ Humble boxing academy for a charity boxing event. Some people training are in great shape, I on the other hand am not! The training is hard, but the coaches and trainers do an excellent job at keeping us motivated and providing great material to learn. Super friendly, always helpful, and I now look forward to going back to get my old butt whipped into shape! Highly recommend this place! Shane

Tonight was my second night going to the gym and boxing in general. Luke makes everyone feel welcome, all skill levels and helps you succeed. So far it has been a great experience and looking forward to continuing the training! Great atmosphere, great workouts, great training. Doesn’t get much better.
