As a wedding planner, I enjoy working with Hue & Son Photography. Hathaway is energetic, bubbly, and always brings such positive vibes to the wedding day. What I appreciate most is her eagerness to capture as many shots as possible, especially when timelines are tight and things are moving quickly. She never misses a beat — she’s fast, efficient, and still somehow manages to keep couples laughing and comfortable throughout the day. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and her presence truly adds to the experience for both couples and the vendor team.

We loved working with HueandSun Photography and could not recommend them more! I initially found them on Instagram and was instantly captivated by their photography style. It is so bright and airy, yet quite polished and classical looking - I love the mixture of posed and candid photos. We ended up using them for our engagement and wedding photos and we're so extremely happy we did. Jason and Hathaway are very responsive and professional. They are such a harmonious team, and have a wonderful artistic eye. These were our first professional photos together so I was worried that we would come across as awkward but Jason and Hathaway we're very good about making us feel comfortable and giving suggestions/cues for photos we should do. We also loved that they worked with us on having our dog in the engagement photos. She's such a big part of our relationship and has been there for so many milestones - it made sense for us to have her there! On our wedding day, they were so fun and easy to work with - which is a bonus on such a busy and somewhat stressful day. It was so lovely having them there to guide us through the shots and they were also so receptive to any suggestions that we had. They really let us enjoy our day, it was a thoughtful balance of checking in with us during the cocktail hour/reception and also giving us space to take some beautiful candid shots. We are so happy with how the photos turned out and have received so many compliments with them! Going with HueandSun is one of the easiest wedding decisions you can make.

We had the best experience working with Jason and Hathaway on our wedding day!! They were with us for 12 hours and managed to capture every single moment, from getting ready to the emotional, tear-filled moments during the ceremony, and all the fun and laughter at the reception. They were super respectful of the fact that it was our wedding day and we wanted to enjoy it. For example, we had originally planned to do champagne photos at the end of the night, but when they saw how much fun we were having on the dance floor, they checked in to see if we still wanted to step away for those photos. It truly showed how much they cared about making the day perfect for us. Our wedding party also appreciated how they guided everyone through the photos and made the whole process feel so comfortable. Even our guests commented on how friendly and professional they were throughout the day! Jason and Hathaway even went the extra mile to get flowers from our florist for the flat lay photos, which turned out amazing. Their photography style was exactly what we wanted for our outdoor summer wedding, and they captured all the moments and colours perfectly. We have received countless compliments on our sneak peek photos so far, and we can’t wait to see the rest. If you’re looking for friendly, professional, talented photographers-they are it! Jason and Hathaway are absolutely amazing to work with! From the beginning they were quick to respond, and were open to collaboration. On the day of the event, they were punctual, organized, easy to work with and provided amazing creative direction. Seeing the photos live was better than ever imagined, they captured the wedding day so perfectly!

It was a pleasure to work with Jason and Hathaway and we are so happy with how our wedding photos turned out! They were very organized, experienced and professional. They worked seamlessly as a team with my other vendors which made taking group photos super efficient! The time leading up to the big day, communication with them was always clear and open; feedback from them was constructive and it reminded us to be mindful our day-of timeline. On the day of, they had their own equipment set up (lighting, headset, cameras, small props for the lay flat, etc.). My guests commented on how they were like our shadows, silently following us as we made our rounds and also being there when guests were taking their own photos. It felt like they were able to do the impossible by capturing every moment. Jason and Hathaway's artistry in their photos had the goal to tell a story of our wedding and it definitely came through when we received our photo galleries. We highly recommend working with Hue&Sun and look forward to working with them in the future!
