I had an excellent experience with Amy at Haven Physiotherapy. After about several weeks of working with her, my pelvic floor muscles are functioning properly again, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my overall comfort and control. Amy provided me with a well-structured exercise program, practical daily activity guidance, and helpful nutritional recommendations. She also shared up-to-date articles and clear explanations that helped me better understand what was happening inside my body. That knowledge made a big difference in my recovery process. Many of my issues were related to age and the nature of my work, but with Amy’s professional support and personalized approach, I was able to effectively address and resolve them. Today was a very good day. If you are reading this and are researching Amy for your pelvic health or pelvic health challenges you can rest assured that your search is over. I have had a lifetime of pelvic health challenges. UTI’s that were actually symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis. Pelvic prolapse with urinary and bowel incontinence to name a few. Amy understood my ‘whole’ history and explained all of it in easy to understand detail. I’m feeling much more confident with moving ahead with any required surgery I may need and know that Amy will support me pre and post treatment. With one appointment we have a plan and I could not feel more heard, relieved or hopeful.

Amy changed my life! I started seeing Amy when I was about 7 weeks postpartum and had all the common pelvic floor issues a lot of women experience after having a baby. Amy was really helpful and provided a lot of education, guidance, and encouragement. She was instrumental in my healing journey and I am now much stronger both physically and mentally and able to do a lot of the activities I enjoy thanks to her.
