Booking my first session at Hamman Retreat & Spa was a total breeze - their website is actually gorgeous and so easy to use. I called to confirm, Huda was literally the sweetest, making the whole process super chill. Just a heads-up: the parking can be a bit of a puzzle for new people, so definitely get there a few minutes early! Also the bathrooms are in the hallway of the commercial building rather than inside the spa unit, but they are super close by. From the moment I stepped inside, the owner, Huda, has this authentic, traditional vibe going that immediately killed the stress. My 3-hour glow-up started with the infrared sauna and a Morocco/Turkish scrub that left my skin feeling insanely soft. My estheician, Karina, was a total gem! She was so caring and really knew her stuff, making sure I was comfy the whole time. Between the facial, body scrub and relaxation massage, I was in literally in heaven - it was my "fantasy facial" dream come true. Karina does not just do her job; she goes way above and beyond, respecting your time and being so resourceful. I could literally feel my mental and physical exhaustion just evaporate. The energy here is everything. It is not just a basic spa; it is a full-on mental reset. Huda's passion for keeping things traditional shows in every little detail. I do wish they had a loyalty program for regulars. The staff nails that "extra mile" service with their awesome attitude. It makes total sense why TripAdvisor recommends them so much - the whole experience felt totally tarilored just for me. Walking out, I felt so much lighter, both emotionally and physically. The indoor forestry and the sound of the pond with live fish were such a peaceful way to end the session. I felt like stepping out of a dream and back into the real world with a serious glow. If you are feeling burnt out, you need to book a spot here. Higher recommended.

I visited this spa today while escorting my sister for her appointment, and even though I wasn’t the one receiving a treatment, the experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the lady at the reception, who is also the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She invited me into the lounge area, offered me a very comfortable chair where I could truly relax, brought me a cover towel, and even told me I could take a nap if I wanted. I was also treated to Moroccan tea and biscuits, which was such a thoughtful touch. What really stood out was the warmth and genuine hospitality. I ended up having a lovely conversation with her for the entire two hours while my sister enjoyed her treatment. It honestly felt like making a new friend. The atmosphere was calm, peaceful, and inviting. My sister confirmed that she thoroughly enjoyed her service, felt relaxed and refreshed, and is already looking forward to coming back. After this experience, I’m definitely planning to return for my own treatment as well. Highly recommended. Not just for the services, but for the exceptional customer care and welcoming environment.

Absolutely wonderful experience at this hammam spa. The hammam treatment itself was exceptional — relaxing, rejuvenating, and done with such care. The sauna, exfoliation, and warm water ritual left my skin feeling unbelievably soft and refreshed. I followed it with a massage, and it was truly one of the best I’ve had. Shayla was skilled, gentle, and knew exactly how to ease tension without any discomfort. Overall, it was a peaceful, luxurious escape from the everyday rush.

A truly rejuvenating experience! If you’re looking for looking for a place to unwind, reset, and indulge in real self-care, I can’t recommend this place enough. I left feeling relaxed, pampered, and completely renewed! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed — a true oasis right in the city. The hammam experience was absolutely amazing. I started my session with Sauna then into the hammam room which was soothing and aromatic, and the traditional exfoliation treatment left my skin softer than it’s ever been. My aesthetician Kira was professional, kind, and made sure I felt completely at ease throughout the entire session. My skin felt amazingly soft and refreshed afterward. The facial that followed was just as impressive — gentle yet effective, leaving my skin glowing and hydrated. Huda was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients’ comfort and experience. It was honestly one of the best self-care experiences I’ve had in a long time and the best birthday gift😃

I am so happy to find a Hammam Spa in Calgary. I had only previously experienced Hammam once (in Spain) and found the experience worth repeating. And, having tried Hamman Retreat & Spa, I discovered a place where I can keep repeating the experience. I was treated with kindness and respect from the moment I arrived through the beautiful lobby of the building, which had already caused major relaxation vibes. The facilities were excellent, the treatment professional and thorough, the care and attention to detail of every little thing was impeccable. And my skin felt so absolutely amazing. I can hardly wait to go back!
