I've always been the one managing my fiancé’s hair, but since we were taking photos for wedding, I thought it would be best to leave it to a professional this time. Based on a recommendation, we booked an appointment with stylist Y. I know how difficult it is to do a clean fade on short hair, so I told my fiancé to simply show the stylist our wedding photo reference instead of trying to explain in detail. Unfortunately, the result was very disappointing. It looked nothing like the photo—and honestly, it was worse than when I cut his hair myself. While my fiancé said the stylist was kind and friendly, the haircut was so off that I had to fix it myself later with clippers. The top part was nicely done, but the sides and back looked uneven and unpolished—almost like a child’s haircut. Perhaps the stylist is great with other styles, but I wouldn’t recommend them for short faded cuts.

I recently had my hair colored by Sol, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I usually dye my hair about once a month, but due to a recent trip to Korea, it had been two months since my last appointment. My roots had grown out, and the previous color had faded unevenly, leaving a brassy orange tone that didn’t complement my skin tone. Sol immediately noticed this and expertly selected a shade that suits me perfectly. It’s been about a week since the appointment, and I’m still in love with the color. It looks natural and vibrant, and my hair feels healthier and shinier than before. Sol is truly a professional, and I trust her completely with my hair. I look forward to returning for future appointments!

Michelle did my hair. The result was pretty good for the price. However there are a few things that could’ve been better: 1. They didn’t wash my hair 2. At other salons I’ve seen hair stylists generously spray/wet the hair before cutting but here she just started cutting it completely dry (not sure if it’s a technique) 3. She didn’t apply any heat protectant before using iron and blow dry. I tried to tell them but they couldn’t understand me. They only added serum after styling.
