I have heard now from too many people that their animals leave here and go straight to the vet for skin or eye irritation. As well as they give specifics and the do quite the opposite of what is asked, If I could give 0 stars I would. I would highly recommend NOT to go here.

I wish I had the option to not even give this place one star. We brought our large pup (Pyrenees Shepard cross) in for a groom. We asked for certain areas to be cut short (tummy, bum area and his legs) and they shaved him.... in the middle of November. No reputable groomer should ever shave a dog with an undercoat unless it is specifically asked by the owner. Now we have a dog who has never dealt with cold weather without his large coat and to be quite honest, he is not the same pup. He is withdrawn and almost seems depressed, which according to google can be normal with a drastic change like this. It will take months for his coat to come back. I am extremely appalled by the lack of professionalism after my husband sent an email with his concerns and we didn't even receive a response back. Please be aware of this place and what can happen to your pet.

Today was the first time taking my dog to this groomer. I dropped her off at noon. They had her done so quickly I thought they were unable to do her hair because she is a difficult groom and terrified of groomers. We agreed that she was there for a full groom but if it was was too stressful for my dog, that they could just do whatever they could. I went into a meeting this afternoon not expecting a call for several hours at least- the meeting went long and I didnt realize what time it was, and when I checked my phone, I saw they had been calling me all afternoon to tell me my dog was ready for pick up. 1.5 or 2hrs, they had called! I was so surprised because the last groomer would keep her 5+ hrs on average, and even longer sometimes!!! When I left the office I realize this place closes at 4p and it was almost 5p (unlike the last groomer whose open till 7p) so I was panicking and frantic thinking they may have left for the day! I dont know what happens if they close and a person hasnt picked up their dog yet, because that's never happened for me before where I was late - but they answered the phone and were very gracious. They waited an hour after they closed for me to come get her! 😬 I felt so bad! I gave a good tip and will continue to in the future because I cant believe they had to wait an hour after close for me. They charged me for a babysit which is very fair, and still it was really a very reasonable price. And... she had a full groom and looked perfect! I was so surprised! I figured they stopped and that why they had called so early because she was stressed out but she let them groom her!! I brought my dog home and usually she would have to pee really bad after being at the other groomers and she would be so thirsty, but she didnt run for either- so they must have taken good care of her for all of those hours she was there. She was also not desperate just to leave like at the last place. She is happy and she isn't just exhausted, either. I am truly amazed at how quickly they managed to get her groomed and this is the best groom she has ever had! 🤯 This is our new grooming place for sure, and now I know how quick they are which makes it a lot less stressful for her, too, which makes us both happy!! Thank you so much, guys!!

We moved here from Ontario and have had a hard time finding the right groomer. Let me just say when we dropped off our pup this morning, I wasn’t really too hopeful. But to my surprise, I believe it was the best cut my dog has ever had in the past 10 years. And Butter was happy and almost proud of his haircut!!! We have found our place. And you should really give it a try❤️

Well it has come down to this….. Friends and family, be careful who you trust your pets with for grooming. We took Tater to Denise at The Groom Room in spruce grove… for his first ever puppy cut!! They did an absolute hack job on his body, they didn’t do his nails or ears because she admitted to be too distracted by other issues going on that day in the groomers. But managed to give my boy bad razer burn between his toes and all over his abdomen. Then proceed to not tell us when we picked him up. Now I am trying desperately to get my money back and putting this out there for pet parents. Do not go to The Groom Room in Spruce Grove Since they’ve change management they’ve gone WAY downhill!!! See pictures for what they did to my boy… 🙁 Never will I send anyone there or go there ever again!!
