This is a fantastic gym. What really makes this place stand out is the winning combination of great members and a great staff. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive atmosphere and the sense of community that has been built here. The staff are knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly take pride in what they do, and the members create an environment that is both motivating and respectful. It is not easy to build a gym culture where people feel comfortable, supported, and pushed to improve at the same time, but this gym has managed to strike that balance extremely well. Whether you are new to training or someone who has been working out for years, this is a place where you can come in, focus, and get better. Keep up the excellent work. Gyms like this make a real difference in a community.

🛑Female staff - Visited Time - 9:00 pm tuesday / 3March. - I visited this gym and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the customer service. When entering, there was no greeting, no “hello,” and no welcoming attitude from the staff. A gym should make members feel comfortable and valued, but the lack of basic courtesy and friendliness created an unwelcoming environment. Customer service is very important in the fitness industry, and simple things like acknowledging members with a smile or greeting can make a big difference. I hope the management works on improving staff interaction and professionalism so that future members have a better experience. Never expected this in Alberta.

Justina’s yoga class is my absolute favourite part of the week! It has totally changed my mobility my strength and she’s just so amazing the way she runs the class friendly to everyone at all levels! I wish we had more yoga classes with her!

This is an honest review not an emotional one. I started at Planet Fitness for the first 5 weeks of my fitness journey and absolutely loved everything but there early weekend hours. For me the later in the day the better my workout. I was attracted to GoodLife because its 24 Hours. So why 3 stars? At least 3 of the treadmills are completely broken with no signs on them saying maintenance or anything so there neglected. $42 Bi Weekly has so give you a great package if the Black Card membership at Planet fitness is only $30. Overall the Airdries Goodlife, I assume not all locations...but Airdries needs a major face lift. You'll see 3 of the exact same machines in a row and they all push and pull and feel different for some reason. Also a decent amount of staff that aren't great health examples. So I switched back to Planet Fitness and if I want a 1am workout I can go to Nose Hill in the NW 15 minutes away at a Calgary Planet fitness. All in all I felt like I was paying $84 a month to use a Sauna.

Completely Unacceptable Management I have never experienced such blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism in a gym environment. The management at this GoodLife location is shockingly dismissive, condescending, and clearly uninterested in treating members with even a basic level of human decency. Instead of resolving concerns or communicating like an adult, the manager I dealt with spoke down to me, interrupted constantly, and acted as though members are an inconvenience rather than the reason the gym exists in the first place. It was clear from the interaction that ego mattered more than customer service. Gyms are supposed to be places where people feel motivated, supported, and respected. This location fails miserably in that regard due entirely to poor leadership. No accountability, no professionalism, no respect. GoodLife prides itself on being a premium gym—but management like this completely undermines that image. I would strongly recommend either serious retraining or replacement of whoever is running this location, because behavior like this drives loyal members away. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location to anyone who expects basic respect.
