Gyms a joke. WOW big TVs cooool, too bad NOTHING is maintained. Benches all falling apart, equipment falling apart, cables splitting and loose. I’ve got knee problems so I like to use the stationary bike in the cardio section, they have a whopping 2 bikes - first one has a seat that will drop you randomly (great for my knee pain) the other one has a broken water bottle holder (been broken for months) so again NOTHING is maintained. Staff is nice and welcoming same with the supplement store staff so nothing against them whatsoever, but the actual gym is complete garbage. Which is all the more surprising for a gym brand that I thought to be prestigious. Guess golds is just a shiny version of club 16, same crap different brand. EDIT: I just want to add the fact that EVERY 1 star review has several likes or high fives, where as all the (complete nonsensical) 5 star reviews are not liked as they are not accurate representations for how this gym is. I will happily edit my review to 5 stars if equipment is EVER maintained or replaced but I'll probably end up moving or dying before that ever happens.

The facility is always spotless, the equipment is top-tier, and everything is extremely well maintained. You can tell the staff genuinely care about keeping the environment professional and welcoming. What really sets this place apart are the amenities. The steam room, hot tub, and swimming pool make it feel like more than just a gym, it’s a full recovery and wellness experience. Being able to relax after a hard workout is a huge bonus. The atmosphere is motivating without being intimidating, and even during busy hours it’s well organized and comfortable. If you’re in Langley and want a clean, high-quality gym with amazing amenities, this is the spot. Highly recommend.

I’ve been a member of Langley Gold’s Gym since 2009 when the location was still a parking lot - If it’s not one of the better places to workout in the area, it’s definitely close — I love having access to a swimming pool all year. The new manager Alex — actually both Alex’s seem like they're good people. They don’t have that “IDGAF” attitude you see too often these days. Manager Alex has good people skills & does what many don’t, he listens. Being healthy isn’t just about physical fitness. it’s about mental health & atmosphere. The new upbeat music since he arrived has made a difference & is a breath of fresh air. I really applaud him for improving something that was much needed. Adding another pecdeck machine upstairs would be a popular upgrade too.

What I love about this gym: The cardio area is huge, and honestly has some of the best equipment I’ve seen in any gym (better than Equinox, in my opinion). The temperature is actually comfortable, most gyms are way too warm. The staff are super friendly and helpful, there is tons of free parking, everything is kept clean, and the members here actually follow basic gym etiquette, which is rare for Surrey/Langley gyms. Areas of opportunity: More consistent enforcement around non-compliant members (for example, people bringing full workout bags onto the floor). Making the small white towels mandatory for all members would also be a big plus.
