I can't say enough good things about Harrison, my personal trainer at Gold's Gym. After 20 sessions, he's completely transformed my confidence. He's very patient and always explains things clearly. For any older women like me who are hesitant about starting at the gym, I can't recommend him enough. He makes every step easy and encouraging.

I have been going to golds Douglasdale for 4 years. Amad, Alex and Meari these guys at the desk have always been very helpful. Ask for anything and u will get it. The gym is always super clean. Good music, good coffee. Thanks to you all, great crew

My Experience at this gym is usually great, but today the staff member by the name of Ahmed made the experience exceptional. After losing my headphones I later returned to the gym asking if they had been turned into the lost and found, after finding the lost and found empty Ahmed narrowed down my exercise area and found the last seen location of my headphones through the cameras. I am thankful Ahmed was there, because of his help I was able to find my headphones and carry on.

There are definitely better gyms to go to, considering the price point. The saunas are a battle as they often don’t work without any heads up in the app or site. The pool is permanently closed for treatment (6 months without me ever seeing it open). The contracts are absolute and cancelling for any reason at all is difficult. Competitors in Calgary offer much more and newer equipment for the same price point you get here. As a positive I do find the staff to be fairly friendly and helpful.

I have been coming here for a month now and it's been a great experience. I want to give a huge shoutout to Rashid, who has been incredibly helpful and kind. He genuinely cares about me and has gone above and beyond to help me stay consistent with my gym routine. I truly appreciate everything he’s done for me—he made the transition into a regular workout habit so much easier!
