I honestly can’t recommend Gloss enough. The salon itself is absolutely beautiful, the aesthetic is gorgeous and it just feels like such a nice space to spend time in. Everyone is so welcoming when you walk in, which makes the whole experience even better. I’ve been getting my blonde done here for years and the skill level of the stylists is next level. My colour always turns out amazing. I’ve also seen them do vibrant colours and all kinds of different styles and the work coming out of this salon is seriously impressive. The owner is also one of the most friendly and genuine people you’ll meet, and it really shows in how the whole salon is run. If you’re looking for a talented team in a beautiful space, Gloss is the place to go!

I have been going to gloss to see Simone for almost 5 years now, and I always leave the salon happy (and with the BEST hair of course)! The salon itself is so inviting, all the staff are lovely and the place overall just has the best energy! If you’re looking for a place that will make you want to come back this is definitely the salon for you.

Lana at Gloss Salon is truly amazing! She’s incredibly talented, so kind, and genuinely cares about her clients. You can tell she really knows her stuff and takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. I always feel listened to, comfortable, and so happy with the results. I had the most perfect experience today at Gloss and I have my literal dream hair! The salon itself is pretty and calm. I'm a high anxiety woman and the vibe was so relaxed in there. It was perfect. Simone is BRILLIANT with her scissors. An absolute artist. She took a considerate amount of time talking to me about what I wanted and what she recommended. She listened and the cut of my hair is absolute perfection!! Steph is a hair color MASTER and mixed up the perfect rich plumb color and the results are to die for. 10/10 all around. These 2 stylists gave me the best hair I've ever had. And at 43.. that's saying something. Obsessed 💜

Got my first ever balayage done by Simonne and she was so informative and caring throughout the entire process, always making sure I was happy with the steps we were taking. The salon has a nice cozy vibe and reasonable rates, I love how my hair turned out and will definitely be coming back!

My daughter recommended Sean from Gloss salon. I had been putting off getting a cut and colour. I have had stubborn greys for over 20 years & needed some colour with non harsh chemicals, no brassy red colour. I told Sean what I wanted, low maintenance haircut with a colour & he listened to what I wanted, gave me his suggestions & checked I was okay with everything he was doing throughout the process. The salon has a friendly, relaxed, welcoming & clean atmosphere. All the staff were so nice & attentive, it was like going to a friends house. I can tell they appreciate their clientele & care about customer service more than anything. I have never, felt so comfortable, valued, & appreciated in a salon before. No pressure to oversell products or services you don’t need, extremely great prices, especially being located on 17th Avenue SW. I would recommend to check out this salon. If you have curly or wavy hair, ask for Sean, he specializes in this area & is quick to help & answer any and all questions you may have.
