After relocating to the Fraser Valley I read countless reviews and called every vet and animal hospital searching for the right team of caregivers for our little fur baby. My first call with Jessica stood out from the rest - a genuine concern for my senior dog’s health challenges, appointment schedule flexibility, on-site lab and reasonable pricing. They seemed to be everything we were looking for. Coming into our first appointments only confirmed this, the collective care of the team is something than could only stem from good leadership. Time and attention was the thread through each appointment and follow up phone call. While steroids were a needed protocol at first, he ended up not being able to wean off of them. They certainly supported a more robust appetite but did increase his need to drink more water and go out to the bathroom more. This became increasingly difficult when his mobility and strength began to break down. (I recommend being aware of these lifestyle changes and potential decline if steroids are being considered for your pet. Perhaps a bathroom setup that doesn’t involve stairs.) The more sick our little guy got, the more visits we had. Dr. Schroeder consistently and kindly walked us through the process of his care and meds. As he declined she recommended keeping a health journal of key items like his symptoms/appetite/mobility so we could track how many good days vs. not-so-good days he was facing. When Louis got to his final days it became clear. Especially on his last. The whole FHAH team was there with their care and a beautiful send off for our little buddy, complete with a flameless candle and time to say goodbye and grieve before and after. Even in picking up his ashes a few days later, all was handled with dignity and compassion. The unexpected crescendo was their bereavement card with handwritten notes in the mail after his passing. The loving consideration throughout truly places their pet services and experience above the rest. Thank you FHAH team, each of you who cared for our sweet Louis over the months, wrapping him in blankets and carrying him around so gently. He was a feisty boy at times and you found ways to calm him down, perk him up and send him home with us until his final day. Your support made a difficult time more bearable. I recently brought my senior dog in after he had a seizure, and Dr. Julian was incredibly professional and informative throughout the entire visit. He took the time to clearly explain what was happening and why the ultrasound, xray, bloodwork and extra stuff were recommended. I never once felt pressured to proceed with anything — just well-informed and supported. Thanks to his guidance, I feel confident in my decisions and grateful to have more good days with my senior dog. Friendly staff as well, highly recommend!

This is my main vet clinic for my fur babies. The staff are so compassionate, patient, informative and understanding. I recommend all my friends who have fur babies to this vet clinic. I appreciate how when I have an appointment, the staff are attentive and patient, taking the time to ask about my cats and allowing me to express any concerns I have regarding my pets. One of my cats last year passed away unexpectedly and the staff sent me a condolences card. It was such a touching and thoughtful gesture, something I will never forget. I highly recommend this animal hospital for anyone in search of one for their pets

Very friendly staff and accommodating! There have been a few times when I had to bring in my puppy for different reasons (e.g. vomiting, diarrhea, ear infection) and they were always able to book me a same day appointment. The vets and staffs are also very friendly and nice even though my pup can be a bit of a handful. 10/10 recommend Fraser Heights Animal Hospital!

First of all, I’d like to thank Dr Duff, and the staff at this hospital for all the attention & care they gave to my dog Luna. 6 years ago, we had a bad experience at Atlas animal hospital , where we lost our family dog Lucky. The staff there did not show care but rather disgust when my first dog got sick. They only cared about money, and just made my dog get more sick, up until his passing..at 4 years old! I promised myself I’d never to go back to that place. Now with my current dog Luna , I came here to Fraser Heights Animal Hospital, and honestly it was the best decision I made. This hospital shows they care about animals. And do not judge you nor the pets. I am so pleased of the care they gave my dog Luna when she had a high fever . They explained everything and the process thoroughly for her medications. She is doing better now. Again thank you to the staff for everything. I will be returning soon with Luna , and also, I will be bringing my puppy Pixie, as well. 🥰
