Went in for a quote. They took a number of pictures and told me I'd receive a quote in a few days. No problem. I received it an hour later. Wonderful. However, I went for a second opinion as you should ( shop around ). There, I received a full estimate. They took my car into the shop and looked past the surface damage to make sure they gave me the most accurate estimate possible. So needless to say if I just left it with fix auto I would have got a big surprise once they started to get into the repairs. So yes, they were quick to get me in for an estimate and to get that estimate to me, however I personally feel it wasn't done as in depth as it could have been.
