Brought senior mom in for a much needed haircut. Fary listened to her needs, did a really nice job making it nice and short but stylish. Mom was pleased.

This is a very clean, bright, airy, and well laid out salon. The staff are all very friendly and, most importantly, seem to be enjoying working here. This was my first visit but it won't be my last.

I normally never post a second review, but I feel compelled to do so because my disappointment has only grown with time. On the same day, we didn’t immediately realize how bad the haircut actually was. However, after 2–3 days, it became very clear that the haircut was extremely poorly done and completely unprofessional. The shape is uneven, and it looks worse as the hair settles. Honestly, I could have done a better job at home without any professional training. Every single day, we are struggling to manage my daughter’s hair. No matter how much we try with a comb or hair pins, we are unable to style it properly because the cut itself is so bad. This has caused unnecessary stress for us, especially considering this was a child’s haircut and her first experience. This was not just rushed service—it was careless. A professional salon should at least provide a basic, wearable haircut. Sadly, this experience fell far below that standard. There is a lot of room for improvement in both skill and attention to customers, especially children. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this location based on our experience. You can see in the pictures. Hair at front supposed to me shorter according to my knowledge but salon staff don’t know i think. They keep front hair long and back one shorter.

I visited First Choice Haircutters for my daughter’s very first haircut, and it was also our first time getting a haircut in Canada. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The service felt rushed and was completed in less than 10 minutes. The haircut itself was very basic, with a straight cut at the back, something that could easily be done at home. I was hoping for a bit more care, especially since it was a child’s first haircut. The staff did not seem very welcoming, and there was little interaction with my child. A friendly smile or a bit of warmth would have made a big difference and helped her feel comfortable. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope that the salon can improve its customer service, especially for children and first-time customers.
