I am a retired barber 40 years in the hair industry, I've owned hair salons and barber shops. I am new to Nanaimo and needed my very long hair highlighted and cut. I had seen a woman out and about with a great cut and color, I asked where she had it done. I was surprised to find out it was First Choice. After being ill for some time, I was desperate. It was easy to book an appointment. I must admit I was apprehensive, because of the ease. When I arrived she was right on time, greeting me with a smile. Jamie was wonderful! She asked for me to excuse her footwear, because she had broken part of her foot. (She never complained about her foot, she was a real trooper.(Bless her strong work ethics!))I told her I have allergies. Jamie immediately did research and made sure I was safe. She gave me exactly what I asked for. She's the kind of stylist I would have loved to work with in one of my shops. First Choice is lucky to have her. Thank You again Jamie!

Penny was excellent! She ensured clear expectations and made me feel so good!! I got so many compliments too :) Thank you! FYI, I think it’s random that you have kids cuts but do not list an “adult cut” as an option of services listed here.
