Family Pet Hospital has taken care of my cat, Misty, for many years now. She’s a bit of a complex girl and occasionally needs to be seen more often than the average cat, but the team here always provides her with exceptional care no matter the situation. Most recently, Dr. Singh did an amazing job with her tooth extraction in December and her ear polyp removals just yesterday. I’m so grateful for the skill and compassion shown throughout both procedures. The women at the front desk are always incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They truly care about both the pets and their owners, and they always make sure Misty and I feel supported and taken care of when we come in. Family Pet Hospital not only provides outstanding quality of care, but they also have some of the most reasonable prices I’ve seen compared to other veterinary clinics in town. I’m very thankful to have such a wonderful team looking after Misty. Thank you all so much!

I will never bring any pets here again! brought my cat in because he wasn't eating drinking ect. he was,diagnosed with asthma and a collapsed lung ( think the collapse,lung was,due,to some type of trauma because,he also had a broken canine) they gave him intervention and sent us home and if things didnt improve come back. went back because he was still struggling was given a shot and given pills to give him. when an inhaler or brocialdialator injection would of been a better option for a cat who still wasn't drinking/eating. a few mins after giving him the pill he aphyxiated and died in my arms. My vet tech friend said he should have NEVER been sent home in the state he was in. my small children had to witness our cat struggle for his last breath and the loss of him in such an unpleseant way. The worst part is the vet said the day prior he didnt want to give the pill because he wasn't eating ect... The pill was never the best option for a cat that is,struggling( takes,1-2 days to take effect. ill post a video of my poor cat struggling to breath this is right before we brought him back in which we were sent home shortly after. if your animal is in a life or death situation go somewhere else!!!!!

Family Pets has cared for our animals since we moved to Chilliwack in 2005. From new, young animals through to end of life the vets and staff have provided top quality care. From sitting on the floor to calm a new puppy to comforting us through a loss and everything in between they have been consistently professional, supportive and compassionate with a dash of humour thrown in. I’ve recommended Family Pet for twenty years and feel confident in continuing to do so.

Nice receptionists/vet techs. Veterinarian was lovely, had a sweet approach with our kitten, like, calmed her down instantly & just knew how to relate to her. It was impressive! He was very professional and nice and everything was WAY (half) as cheap as every other place I called.
