After moving up Island, I had to make the arduous task of finding a nail salon/tech that clicked with my OCD. Due to being an extensive nail/cuticle picker, I have had about 15 years (nearly straight) of acrylic extensions w/ gel polish. I dumped the acrylic about a year ago, and was doing press-on's, but, meh, you know how those go (and was very quick to be able to pick them off, then would get to my real nails next). First chance that I took was a lifetime winner!! After reading reviews and seeing Tan's name mentioned, I booked an appointment. I had a gel overlay and polish from another place (a 'real' salon not a 'mall express' kind of place) from a few weeks prior, which was average at best (no cuticle care, uneven lengths, with not the best polish job, and side view was disappointing). I was anxious of more of the same, but, after Tan seemed to pour his soul into redeeming my nails. I have never loved my nails as much as I did when he was done! I've had regular manicures and gel polish (overlay is now gone, but while it was growing out, he was amazing at keeping the transition invisible) about five times now. I can't believe how well he tends to my crappy cuticles; I love my hands and nails when he is done! My first appointment was the Signature Manicure... holy! it was incredible!! If you have the time, treat yourself! The regular Manicure is very great, also, with hot towels and a hand/arm massage. He is so very sweet, attentive, a perfectionist, and incredibly meticulous. He is a very kind, sweet fellow and easy to be with. The salon is cute and welcoming, very clean and well-appointed. Anyone that I overhear that is getting a service is so appreciative and happy when they are leaving. Lots of parking. Easy to book online (yay!!). I believe they've been open about a year now. Be sure to give this amazing salon your business if you want the best in nail (and likely other) care. I feel lucky to have found Eden right out of the gate. Thank you, Tan, and Eden team!! x
