During that earlier, nasty cold spell we had in December, the homeowner's nightmare - failing furnace - struck our home. Early in the day we discovered that the heat was falling rapidly and the house was getting very chilly. When we failed to get through to East-West we decided to try another service. We were fortunate to get another heating specialist to check the matter out.The young man who came in answer to our call immediately sought a remedy. Through the analytical system within the furnace he was able to attack the problem He diagnosed that the problem had to do with the failure of the system to recognize the falling heat and to make adjustments within. The furnace fan would not cycle through the various steps required to have the furnace fan reach its peak speed and deliver maximum heat. He made a few adjustments, cleaned some of the tubing and managed to get the system working. We were happy at a job well done. Oop! The very next day, the problem arose again. We called East-West and were fortunate enough to get a technician immediately. The E/W technician explained how the furnace system monitors itself. It identifies the part of the system in which the problem lies and allows the tech to focus on finding a solution. The E/W tech performed the same teats and found out where the problem was. He cleaned some of the tubing and had the syteme working as required. At this point, as he was gathering his tools he said that he would NOT leave it at that. He explained that the furnace manufacturer depends upon other manufacturers to supply certain parts of the whole furnace. From his long experience with this model of furnace he knew that some of the original parts were supplied by a less qualified manufacturer and they failed sooner than expected. He knew that a certain valve fit this description. Thus, he said he would not leave without replacing that valve with one which is now manufactured by one of the world's leading suppliers of this type of device. He drove back to the shop, picked up one of these replacement valves and came back to install it. Result? Perfect performance from the furnace! To our way of thinking that sort accumulated knowledge and on the job experience is invaluable and, regrettably rare. The persistence to stick with a solution is rare but very much appreciated With that experience we are more than happy to recommend East-West Heating. Peter& Corinne Smith.

I have had very good experiences with East West Heating. The installed my furnace 11 years ago. They are fast friendly and easy to deal with. I just had an issue with my furnace last week and they came out early the next morning to fix it. I would highly recommend East West Heating.

I live 50 km from Saskatoon and had tried to get other Saskatoon plumbing and heating companies out to do work in my home, with no luck. East West not only came, but charged a very reasonable amount for travel. Kim, who has 40 years experience, investigated and attended to a tricky HRV problem. He also thoroughly serviced my furnace and hot water heater. He was professional, personable, and a great "educator", making sure I understood what he did and why. The icing on the cake? A bill that was more than fair. It's a pleasure and relief to find a plumbing and heating company I can rely on.

East West provided a prompt and helpful solution to repair our Valor gas insert. Dustin and crew went over the top and it was much appreciated. We have had our furnace, air conditioning and gas insert installed over the last 15 years and we would always return to them for new projects. They are professional, responsive and very helpful. We would recommend them without hesitation.

East West heating Inc. through the Costco kiosk in Saskatoon were absolutely amazing. The service was incredible and very professional. The installation team that installed the new furnace was very knowledgable cleaned up the mess after themselves and did such a wonderful job. They were also $4000 cheaper than some of their competitors that I received quotes from And on top of that, I received $1000 Costco cash card. I highly recommend purchasing furnaces and other appliances with these guys. Great experience!!
