Before I started working with Laurie I was struggling with persistent knee pain, perimenopausal symptoms that were affecting my quality of life and confusion about nutrition. From day one, Laurie took the time to understand my individual needs and created a personalized nutrition and training plan that did not feel overwhelming to follow. Laurie has the amazing ability to explain how small lifestyle changes will positively impact the overall health. About one year later and 15lbs down, my knee pain disappeared due to the strength and mobility exercises and the perimenopausal symptoms have significantly reduced. No more energy dips, sleepless nights or extreme diets. Was I 100% consistent with nutrition and exercise in the last year? Definitely no: life takes over, "no restriction" vacations happen or you are simply not in the right mood. Even so, Laurie's personalized approach made a significant difference. Having a solid and clear plan made it easier to get back on track. I previously tried other treatments to reduce pain and improve health, but it was not until I worked with Eagle Ridge Fitness that I saw clear improvements. If you are looking for someone who "gets it" when it comes to women's health, I can't recommend Laurie and Eagle Ridge Fitness enough.

I spent a year training with Laurie, and it was truly life-changing. This journey helped me shed over 30 pounds, but more importantly, I feel healthier and more energized than I ever thought possible. Laurie is incredibly detail-oriented, thoughtful, and hardworking. She doesn’t just train you—she supports you every step of the way, offering personalized advice to make sure you reach your goals. Beyond that, she’s an amazing listener, and our sessions always felt encouraging and uplifting. If you’re looking for genuine, lifelong support on your fitness journey, I can’t recommend this program with Laurie enough!!

I cannot recommend Laurie more highly. As someone who has never been particularly fit nor athletic, Laurie has effectively taught me the skills I need to build strength and lead a healthier lifestyle. She pays close attention to the specific needs of the client day by day and expertly tailors the workout. She is so knowledgable, patient, and encouraging. I have been working with her for over 4 months and I have noticed great changes to my overall strength, physique, and confidence using equipment at the gym. To top it all off, their rates are extremely reasonable and worth every penny for the results. 10/10 trainer and person!

Eagle Ridge Fitness has, quite literally, changed my life! Thanks to the friendly and professional staff, the super effective workouts they design and the sense of community I feel there, I am now in the best shape of my life; When I first started, I could barely do a squat, and was really hesitant to exercise. Now I'm challenging myself to be stronger, healthier and fitter - not just at the gym but outside as well. If you're looking for a boutique fitness studio, this is the place!

My husband and I were clients of Eagle Ridge Fitness and participated in the group fitness classes as well as nutritional coaching. I lost a total of 41 lbs and my husband lost a significant amount as well. Sammy and Laurie, and their staff, are amazing - very professional and personable. They have created a wonderful community of Tri-Cities residents who are committed to achieving their health goals. I would recommend Eagle Ridge Fitness to anyone who is interested in improving their health and fitness and want to feel challenged but supported at the same time.
