I came to DZ Hair Salon in Burnaby (Royal Oak) after another hairdresser badly messed up my perm and couldn’t fix it, causing much stress. The owner here Jade truly worked wonders on my hair. She not only made it look beautiful again, but also patiently taught me how to take care of it and style it the way I like. My husband also gets his hair done here and is very happy with the service. You can tell the stylists really know what they’re doing. When you see hairstylists with great skin and beautifully styled hair themselves, you immediately feel they know how to take care of their clients. Highly recommend — 5 stars!

I had an amazing experience with Yoon! She colored my hair beautifully, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. She was professional, attentive, and really took the time to understand what I wanted. The color turned out exactly how I imagined — vibrant, even, and healthy-looking. I got my haircut here with Jessica a few weeks back, and absolutely loved the outcome! She listened to what I was wanting and made my hair look so healthy again! I booked with her again as I had an event coming up and wanted to get my hair done for it. The team took only an hour, including washing, to give me the hairstyle I was hoping for. This is no easy feat as I have very long and thick hair. I got so many compliments on how my hair looked and really showed up looking and feeling like my best self! I’ve been coming to this salon for over 15 years, and they never disappoint! The staff are always so kind and professional. They carefully checks my hair condition and even my scalp. Now I have the perfect hairstyle that fits me so well! My whole family comes here too — even my husband and my 10-year-old son, who has been visiting since he was born. We all love this place! I also highly recommend their hair spa — it was the coolest and most relaxing hair massage ever ❤️👍 Thanks to Jade🥰

I’ve started coming here for the past 4 years now. I’ve always requested Jenny to do my cuts, and coming from someone who’s extremely picky and anxious when it comes to getting a haircut especially from someone new, she was hands down my favourite! She did exactly yet better than what I asked for. However, she hasn’t been back for the longest time ever :( Anyways, I really wanted to try something new. Yesterday I ended up with Linda for a cut, root perm and digital perm. And it turned out perfectly as close as I would want it! I requested face framing layers, LOTS of layers as I have straight, heavy, flat hair and it was just so lifeless. I showed her some photos for example and it took her 2 seconds to acknowledge what I was asking for and she just knew what was up! Overall, I’m impressed! And this salon will be my permanent place here on out! :)
