Dr. Mathew's office feels like a second home for me. I am treated with the utmost respect, attention and care. The reception is so friendly and accommodating (thanks Janice), the dental Hygienist Eric makes the dreaded visit a pleasure. Finally Dr. Mathew is a wonderful dentist, fantastic communication, excellent dexterity (great eye-hand coordination) and her attention to detail is bar none.

Myself and most of my family members have been going to this clinic for decades (myself for 18yrs), years before Dr Mathew took over from Dr. Krahn. Having Glenda (the best dental hygienist in the Lower Mainland) work on you, is like having tiny little tooth fairies gently and thoroughly clean your teeth. Glenda, like Dr Mathew and the rest of the team, is detail-oriented and has a focus on prevention. She has never missed or skipped a soft tissue check up for oral cancers. Due to Glenda, I have had very little work for Dr Mathew to do on my teeth. When dental work was required, Dr Mathew and her assistant were very good at putting me at ease and making me feel comfortable. Dr Mathew's work was painless and of highest quality. Dr Mathew, herself, is personable, professional and an easy laugh. I highly recommend Richmond Family Dental for anyone who is afraid of or has a strong dislike of dentistry! They have helped me overcome the trauma of dental work received when I was a child through an abundance of compassion, patience and laughter.

Dr. Mathew and her staff were very welcoming! I had to switch from my paediatric office and found Dr. Mathew’s office on Google Maps. The new client set up was very organized and efficient, all thanks to her amazing receptionist Tanice. Upon entering, I was welcomed by the front desk and felt comfortable through my entire appointment. Special credits go out to Joe the hygienist. Although it was a 7am start, he made me feel relaxed and had a thorough clean of my teeth and gums. Thank you Dr. Mathew and your team for your dental support, excited to be an ongoing patient at your clinic.

I haven’t been to a dentist in a long time because of lack of insurance coverage. But suddenly needed an emergency check up for a painful wisdom tooth. I used to have my check ups done here as a teenager, and called because it was familiar. Both the receptionist on the phone, and another at front desk for the check up (only two hours later!) were very kind and helpful. I didn’t feel embarrassed, like I worried I might be for not having been in so long! They set me up as a patient, then in no time I was seen by Dr. Matthew. She was so understanding, and the check up continued smoothly. I felt very comfortable the whole time despite the tooth and jaw pain! The whole staff were professional, fostered a relaxed patient experience, and communicated everything I needed to know going forward so well. I’m just so impressed by this office. I plan to come back to get a proper cleaning after I’ve recovered from surgery. :)
