Edited for accuracy: Dr. Vanessa spends the time that is needed to answer every question with clarity. I've never seen my cats behave with as much ease at the vet as they do when she is present. Great experience, great care, would recommend.

Simon really enjoyed getting neutered here and he is always very happy to return. We love the doctors at Downtown Veterinary Clinic and the reception people are also wonderful and personable. They always follow up after appointments by email to see how my dogs are doing, which is so sweet and something I am not aware of other offices doing. I only have great things to say about this clinic, and I would highly recommend to anybody.

I went to 3 other vets before I found downtown when I moved to the island. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. They are so kind and caring, the staff is excellent, and continues to be excellent. Dr. Carl, Taina, Michelle and the whole team are exceptional. They take such good care of my dogs. Update: they know me by name when I call, and go out of their way to make sure my girls are taken care of. Dr. Carl caught a tumour in my dogs mouth and sent me to an amazing surgeon who saved my dogs life. From refilling my dogs prescription on the fly, to providing affordable comfort packs for dogs who are scared of going to the vet, they take such amazing care of their clients. I cannot imagine my life without them, they take such good care of my girls!

Absolutely amazing experience we recently had with this clinic. First visit with Willow (golden retriever) with a suspected infection and the vets were the best we had ever had. Thorough, kind, compassionate, very knowledgeable and outstanding follow-up with us.. our go to going forward! Highly recommend these folks!

We found this vet when we moved here 6 years ago. They had our first dog Finnegan and were incredibly kind when we had to let her go. Thankfully they were able to take our new dog Tilly. Since we've moved to Sidney we have thought about changing vets, but that's difficult when you feel connected.
