Sam went to heaven after 5 years surviving cancer. It's always a difficult experience for both to lose your best friend. That experience is for both Sam and I and it was made bearable by the kindness of doctor Walton and his crew. It actually was peaceful and absolutely pain-free passing for Sam. I highly recommend Dewdney animal clinic and Dr. Walton. He is the best vet in Maple ridge.

Just went and visited Dewdney animal hospital because my poor boy has some bad hot spots and a pretty messy ear infection. I met with Dr.Cherri Beltran for the first time and she is WONDERFUL. My boy felt comfy around her right away & she was so kind & patient- with my dog and me. Going through everything in major detail. While it’s a shame my boy is having issues - I couldn’t have asked for a more positive experience. The techs from the back who came to clean his ears and shave him were also wonderful. Thank you!

Dr.Walton has been our chosen vet for years. With our 2 pups thru to senior years Roxie & Chico, now laid to rest. I had to say goodbye to my soul dog Chico & Adrian came to our house and was so compassionate & respectful of our suffering. I’ve since got a new little puppy chihuahua & Dr. Walton & his team & his front end staff have been amazing. Thank you Shawna & Pez

Dr. Walton is the most loving and caring vet our family has had the pleasure to met. He has taken care of all our pets more than 10 years, he said to me once “Leo is not your dog, he’s one of your children”. Leo was with us for 17 years and in his last days Dr Walton did all he could to keep him safe and with us. I have recently read some things said about his clinic and it is sad that people have nothing better to do with their time than attempt to attack such a wonderful man! NONE of it’s true he is an amazing person and we would be happy if there were more of Dr Walton’s in this world.

While I’m not a client, just about over a year ago, Dewdney Animal Hospital posted about a pigeon that needed a new home. I quickly messaged them and was able to pick him up. The staff were very kind when I arrived and made sure to give me any info needed. I thought you might also like an update, he’s still shy but is definitely a lot more out of his shell now. His name is Slim Jim, but we usually call him Jimmy or Jim Jam. He is an absolute explorer. For example, he will hop down our stairs to go for a walk downstairs, and will walk straight back to his cage, up the stairs, when he’s done exploring. We have a diaper for him, but as you can probably imagine, it isn’t his favourite outfit to wear. So yes, unfortunately every so often we find a land mine left by him, but usually we’re on top of getting them before our feet do haha. We absolutely love him to death, thank you so much for our sweet Jim Jam, even though Potato (our other pigeon) may not agree at times. But we just think she’s jealous of his sweet Danny Devito hairstyle.
