I brought my daughter in to see Kym for a root touch-up before her upcoming trip. Unfortunately, the results was significantly over-toned, leaving her with noticeably vibrant purple roots that contrasts sharply with the rest of her blonde hair. While I appreciate that Kym informed me about the roots appearing very purple, and that she personally felt the result look “cool,” it’s important to recognize that neither my daughter nor I share that perspective. My daughter is embarrassed by the outcome, and with her leaving for her trip in two days, I’m under both a time constraint and tight budget. Kym mentioned we could book another appointment to have it lightened, but no immediate solution was offered to correct the issue - despite knowing the urgency of the situation and that the results were anything but blonde. Ones hair has the power to either elevate your confidence or diminish it - especially when it comes to special occasions or bucket list trips. One would hope that the stylist would take pride in their work, and want to ensure their clients leave feeling confident and beautiful, not disappointed and self-conscious. I will end with Wendy has created a beautiful, welcoming space and offers thoughtful touches like drinks and snacks. Which many other salons don’t provide.

I just finished a long afternoon of getting my very long, thick hair dyed balayage by Kym, and it turned out even better than I'd hoped!! She took her time, not missing a detail, even though the job was huge! On top of that, it felt like the "girls' afternoon out" I've needed for a while! By the end I think we were both exhausted but happy! Looking forward to my next trim and catch up with Kym. Just lovely to have a local salon just around the corner that's awesome. Thanks for everything, Kym!

Michelle is probably the best nail tech I’ve had. She has great attention to detail, and works with you to make sure your new set is what you want. Each time I go I feel comfortable and relaxed. The other women in the salon often come over and chat with us—I love coming here!

Wendy P does my hair (Color and cut) and she does such a great job! She gets my colour perfect every time. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t be disappointed

Normally I have a great experience here. Luelle has cut my hair before and it’s been amazing. Unfortunately a recent experience is making me change my opinion. I was booked in with a different hair dresser and it was the worst hair cut I’ve ever received. I went home to straighten it and realized it was so uneven and jagged that I had to get it fixed. I tried booking online to see if someone could fix it for me (not the one who cut it in the first place) and never heard back. I just booked an appointment with a different stylist anyway and then they called me and said she was going home and had to cancel my appointment. I paid over $160 for a colour and cut, so it’s really unfortunate that it ended up this way. I ended up going to Hair Razors down the street to get it fixed. The stylist there said there was about an inch and a half difference in the length of my hair on each side of my head. Won’t be returning to them again. I will stick with Hair Razors.
