The entire staff is the best there is. I drive from Kelowna every three months and do not plan to go anywhere else. Dr. Visser is incredibly talented and very knowledgeable and professional. There is no doubt in my mind that this team is not only the best in Kamloops but the best in the entire Okanagan!

I have been accessing services at Dermapure (formerly Skin Kamloops) for a few years and all of my appts have always been excellent. Everyone is supportive, positive, professional and ensure customers feel welcome and comfortable. I would highly recommend Dermapure.

I've been a number of times and will not be back. While Dr Visser is an absolutely sweet soul and knowledgeable person, there is so much amiss about this place. As others have mentioned, I'm often kept waiting over 30 minutes past appointment. There is an obligatory "consult" every time which is just a hard core upsell; never ever focused on what you actually want but what they can get out of you. And I'm stunned at the behaviour of Carleen. After a couple of visits, being funnelled into the "consult", Carleen did some fantastic - by which I mean appalling - negging to try to get me to buy other services I didn't want. When I said no she said "oh it's so great that the crepiness under your eyes doesn't bother you". On a separate occasion her behaviour was off and I have no doubt she was intoxicated. She pulled out my before photos and giggled at a blemish on my face and then started on her hard sell again. And I have never been to a place like this where you asked to tip! Also, word to the receptionists: when you're gossiping about other staff, or clients, we can hear! Maybe the multimillionaire owners should just pay their staff more instead of asking us to pay on top of an already pricey bill. The delays, the unprofessional behaviour, the hard upsell, the negging, the "Mean Girls vibes: no thanks. Thankfully I've found Kontour and Kimberlee is always on time, never oversells and will actively state what I do not need - how refreshing! And she has done a fantastic job in the 3 times I've been. Will continue to go there for my skin care from now on.

I saw absolutely no results. I followed every instruction carefully and completed all recommended sessions, but my skin looks exactly the same as before. The staff were polite, but I feel misled by the promises and marketing — I was assured I’d notice visible improvements, which simply never happened.

I have had a fantastic experience at SKIN Kamloops and fully intend on going back! I am 36 years old and finally but the bullet on trying Botox. I’m not someone who gets my nails done or my hair done and I don’t wear makeup most days. This was something I was starting to feel insecure about and I was really excited to dive in! The team at SKIN were incredibly respectful of my concerns, goals and most of all budget! They worked hard to give me the best bang for my buck and I am incredibly grateful. Colleen and Dr. Visser were extremely informative about the process and what to expect. I was told the Botox wouldn’t fully take effect for 7-10 days. It’s day 3 and I am already having amazing results. I have a very expressive face but already the muscles I don’t want to move have already been hindered. The deep set lines in my forehead have already disappeared. I feel so confident and will definitely return!
