De Rembrandt Hotel

The hotel has clean, well-arranged rooms, and the environment is comfortable. However, some members of the staff clearly need basic training in customer service and hospitality. All guests should be treated with equal respect, without favoritism toward those who appear wealthier or older. Respect should be given to everyone who deserves it. In addition, a staff member should not dictate which room a guest must stay in. Every paying customer has the right to request or change their room if the one assigned to them is not satisfactory. I stayed at this hotel and paid ₦78,000, which I was told was a discounted rate. However, this morning I was informed that breakfast was not included. When I went to the restaurant, I was told breakfast would cost ₦12,000. This was both unexpected and disappointing. I have also repeatedly requested laundry services, but up till now, no one has responded or attended to my request. Overall, while the facilities are good, the customer service needs serious improvement.

Avoid at all cost. Bathroom is old, archaic, dirty and smelly. I changed rooms twice but no material change. This hotel is located in a great location within a walking distance to Ikeja City Mall but everything else is not just bad but terrible. Worn out towel. Shaky elevator.
