Very thankful to have found this dentist in my community last year. I have had a few visits since, including a couple recent emergency visits and they were so accommodating. Also, in general the fairest pricing I have encountered with no shortcuts or rushing to get on to the next patient. Highly recommend.

My experience with D&D had always been very good and comforting until today. Unfortunately, today turned out to be the most disappointing visit I have ever had. This time, I was seen by a different dentist than the one I had consulted during my previous visits(potentially a hygienist as i had only cleaning this time). As soon as I entered, he asked if I was from another province (which he likely noticed from my X-rays). I informed him that I have been in Edmonton since May and that I will be returning to my home province in about a week. He then asked, “Then why are you here? Why can’t you get it cleaned there?” (none of his business )— which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. He then proceeded with the cleaning, but it was not gentle at all. There was no dental assistant present to help, and he appeared irritated whenever I raised my hand to signal pain or sensitivity. He was also very hesitant to use suction, and at one point, he even told me to swallow instead. I was shocked and asked him to repeat what he said, and he responded that it had been in my mouth the entire time, so there was nothing wrong with swallowing it. I found this very unprofessional and uncomfortable. He even told me my teeth looked like its not cleaned for 10 years. Such an unacceptable comment from a professional dentist After charging $256 through my insurance, he only cleaned my lower set of teeth and then asked me to get the rest cleaned in my original province. This left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied, especially considering the amount billed and the incomplete service provided.

I couldn’t get into my regular dentist and they could not get for 4 days and were very rude when I was need a lot of pain. I was lucky enough to come across D&D Dr Dashti after looking for a dentist online. I called D&D and form that call it was a pleasant experience. From the receptionist that took my call and was able to fit me in because of a cancellation. To happy and clamming hygienist and professional well mannered and confident Dentist. Dr Dashti examined my issue and concluded what procedure had to take place. Dr Dashti performed the procedure right away. Both the hygienist and the Doctor were great in making sure that there was minimal pain and answered all questions I had. Before leaving the reception taking care of my billing was very pleasant and helpful. I plan on returning for regular check ups and cleanings. Thanks D&D Arron

I recommend anyone looking for a dentist, to see Dr. Cherry Vao. She is so genuine and understanding, and very much cares about her patients health. Her work is exceptional every single time. The dental assistants treat you like a friend and the receptionists here remember your name! Not to mention, those ladies are incrediblely helpful and flexible with payment options. I have moved 40 minutes away, but will make the journey every time. Where ever Dr. Vao goes, that's where I will be going. I haven't left this office without a smile on my face.
