We bought a house where work by some sub contractors has been done part of an insurance claim in langdon Alberta. There have since been many issues with the house. There was a leak in the cladding that leaked and caused mold in the house going from the top of the 1st floor all the way down the the basement. The siding company basically ripped off the original paper from under the cladding and decided to tape new paper to under the new cladding. Leaving a part between the siding and cladding bare. Paper should be layered and no part should be bare. The cladding company did not take off the old cladding they just put new cladding over top. Done properly, the old cladding should be token off and the new cladding should be put on. We also have a brand new window that leaks and the new roof is leaking as well. I have called Tyler many times. He completely has ghosted me. He has not even reached out to us once. He said he was going to come out and check things out. It's been well over half a year since I have contacted him and nothing. We have parents in medicine hat and they said this company has a very good reputation out there. Unfortunately it seems like that has changed and they have some very bad sub contractors working for them. It is also unfortunate that they just plain don't care about the damage their contractors have caused nor due they care to rectify their wrong doing. Avoid this company at all costs, a good contractor would not have these types of reviews. You definitely do not want a new roof, siding, window or cladding that leaks and your out of pocket for damage that their contractors caused. This is all under warranty as well but they already got their money from the insurance company so they don't want to warranty the damage they caused.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company in Medicine Hat. From start to finish, the service was poor. Communication was terrible, and the workers loved their 17 smoke breaks, 2 hour lunches and as I overheard multiple times “ lets just go hangout at the shop”. They often looked for ways to avoid doing their job, including showing up to my house without ringing the doorbell or knocking, just so they could leave and claim no one was home. On multiple occasions, I caught them trying to leave my house without even attempting to notify me, simply because my dog barked at the door. They also caused damage to several items in my home. While accidents can happen, they refused to take responsibility, instead lying and claiming that the damage was already there. I would have appreciated honesty and a willingness to make things right, but instead, they tried to shift the blame onto me. One of the most frustrating parts was when they lied to the flooring company about the damage they caused. I don't even want to get into the details of that situation. As someone who loves to shop local and support businesses in my community, this was by far the worst experience I've had with any company. I don't usually write reviews like this, but this experience was bad enough to warrant a warning to others. If you're in Medicine Hat or the surrounding area, I strongly urge you to avoid this company and look for someone else to handle your job.
