🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Courtyard Dental is truly the best dental clinic I have ever been a patient of. From the staff at the Admin/Reception to my Dentist (Dr. Austin Franklin D.D.S.), to my Hygienist (Destiny), each Dental Assistant (DA), the entire team treats me with such kindness, compassion, care, skilled & professional. The view of 1st Street S.E. from the dental chair (to outside) is unbelievable! Being able to see Historical landmarks like The Court of Queen’s Bench and the South Saskatchewan River’s edge, beautiful trees and the sun shining in……makes for such a beautiful, rare, setting. Big open windows (not dark and dank). This clinic’s staff & clinical setting are most definitely Medicine Hat’s finest. I also trust Courtyard Dental, because they are honest. They don’t create unnecessary procedures if not needed. They save me money, unlike other clinics that always seem to find “something” to “fix” ($$$$), unnecessarily. Courtyard Dental is proactive, thorough, very skilled (I never feel the needle; they take such care in ensuring my comfort—great rapport and communication throughout each appt). There are TV’s above each chair to watch while they work (nice distraction). Their service is very time effective (little to no wait time to see a dentist— if it’s an emergency, they have always been able to accommodate to see my pain addressed right away (not weeks away). So many polishing flavors; my teeth are always noticeably whiter after every cleaning! When my appt is done, I always am grateful to enjoy the free Keurig coffee (variety of brands/pod’s) or juice boxes in the mini cooler, and they are so generous to provide dental product samples to explore, so I don’t have to waste money trying to find a toothpaste, flosser, or tongue cleaner that is best (i.e. for sensitivity, etc…). When I forget to brush (or don’t have time) before my appt, they prepare a little baggy with tooth paste, dental floss, a tooth brush and even lip chap, so I am prepared for the procedure! Amazing! I could write so much more, but I encourage you to make your next dental appt. at Courtyard Dental, so that you can truly experience what this incredible team has to offer you (best you’ll ever find). Thank you to all staff at Courtyard Dental in Medicine Hat for ALL that you have done for me over the year’s…..and I look forward to my next appt’s (because thanks to you, I am no longer afraid of dentists). lol. 🦷 ❤️ 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Edited May 31, 2025: The entire team at Courtyard Dental continues to provide an inviting atmosphere in a beautiful, park-like setting. It is calming just walking in, given the location, and then you're greeted by a friendly and warm front desk team. Courtyard Dental is a patient-centered dental practice, and all team members should be proud of their individual contributions to being such a wonderful team. As an anxious patient, this has been the best dental practice I have been a patient of. Thank you! ----- As a fairly new patient, I've been met with such great customer service. I've been put at ease with every encounter I've had. So refreshing to feel that you're valued and cared for at a dental office. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Courtyard!

What can I say... Was nervous as always when you go to a new place for the first time. Amazing comfortable, welcoming feeling. My experience for the first time was crazy. We moved my appointment like what seemed about 10 times due to conflicting issues. In the end, they made my experience amazing and definitely well worth the wait. They went over and above and 100% would recommend them to anyone looking for a change. Thank you Courtyard Dental for the amazing Experience.

The absolutely best place to go for dental work! I have had the pleasure to meet both Dr. Kira Swenson and her team and Dr. Janelle Hyland and her team. Both are AMAZING dentists! Gentle, kind, caring and most of all help you overcome your fear of “going to the dentist”! Their hygienists are also amazing and the reception team goes above and beyond to help you with any questions and/or insurance issues. Highly recommend Courtyard Dental!

I love this dentist. The building is beautiful and views are great, the staff is always friendly and professional. I've been going here since I was a kid and now have a good healthy relationship with the dentist unlike some who find it scary or stressful... I attribute that to such a great experience always! I have seen other dentists when I moved away for school and work, but being back in medicine hat for the last several years, I have enjoyed being back at Courtyard Dental! Update: I am now bringing my toddler here, and the staff are wonderful at making her feel welcome and safe and comfortable!
