Jonny is an amazing coach with real care for his students and the craft of boxing. I’ve been boxing under Jonny since 2016, and he took me from a clumsy kickboxer to someone with enviable footwork skills and a much greater sense of discipline, confidence, and respect for others. At CVBC boxing is very much treated as a team sport, and the way Jonny shares his knowledge and gives back to the community is just awesome! I love this gym. Our trainers have a ton of experience and knowledge to share. No matter what skill level you’re at they challenge you, be it in boxing, kickboxing or strength and conditioning. The crew is great, and a big plus is it’s affordable! Definitely recommend checking it out.

My children have been members of Jonnys kids classes on and off for about 5 years. They are always thrilled to be there. They love the fitness and boxing aspect of it, but also Jonnys sense of humor, his adorable Bulldogs and the nutritious snacks provided for each class. And all for a very affordable price. Thanks CVSV. You make a difference in our kids lives.

I would love to put a huge shout out to Jonny Mac and the Comox Valley Boxing Club. What he does for everyone in the valley is amazing. I personally can speak for what i have seen it do for my son. He has been boxing close to a year now taking 2-4 classes a week. He in that time has become more fit, and has built up his confidence. He is always pushing him self to better, loves the challenge, both mentally and physically. He really takes in the words that are spoken as well on respect, discipline, self awareness and loves that he knows he has another family there to back him up.

I've really enjoyed working out at the Club. Jonny does a great job of both showing you technique and then pushing you to remember it by instinct. I'm looking forward to when I have more time to spend training with him.
