I had my seized rear brakes and rotors replaced at Columbia Auto Repair Brake & Muffler, and I couldn’t be more impressed! Not only did they offer a price that no one else could beat, but the service was incredibly quick and professional. This family-run shop really knows their stuff—and they do more than just brakes, which was a nice surprise. Both guys in the shop were super friendly, took the time to show me the old parts they removed from my Chevy, and made the whole experience feel honest and transparent. It’s rare to find a shop that combines great pricing, fast service, and genuine customer care. I’ll definitely be coming back for future work. Highly recommend!

10/10 – Exceptional Work and Service at Columbia Auto Repair I drove from Edmonton to Vancouver, and during the trip, my aftermarket exhaust ended up burning my rear reflector light. I searched online for muffler specialists near where I was staying and visited two different shops — both completely misdiagnosed what needed to be done. While in Burnaby, I came across Columbia Auto Repair, gave them a call, and was pleasantly surprised when the lady on the phone told me I could bring my vehicle in right away. As soon as I arrived, the head mechanic took my Mustang into the shop immediately. He knew exactly what the issue was without hesitation. He explained that the pipe connected to the Y-pipe was too small for my exhaust setup and that the work done previously wasn’t correct. They completely redid the setup the proper way — and the result was phenomenal. Not only was the work done right, but he also took the time to show me exactly what was fixed. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the work, the fair pricing, and the professionalism. The gentleman and his son clearly take pride in what they do. The best part? I made it all the way back to Edmonton and the exhaust was perfect — no more burning of the reflector. That alone proves the job was done right. If I lived in Vancouver, this would 100% be my go-to shop for everything. Clean workspace, friendly service, honest diagnostics — this place truly deserves a 10-star review. Thank you for getting me in and fixing my Mustang. I really appreciate it!

Took my car in to get an aftermarket exhaust installed, and the team did an incredible job. The fitment was perfect, the welds were clean, and the sound is exactly what I was looking for—deep and aggressive without being obnoxious. They treated my car with care, walked me through the whole process, and had it done quicker than expected. Super professional and clearly passionate about their work. Highly recommend

Had an excellent experience with this New West family business. Called and booked for the next morning to arrange getting new brakes and pads. Price was perfect and the service was friendly. I felt in good hands with the well-experienced technicians. While my Jeep was up in the air they pointed out a couple issues I need to address in the near future I’ll be back to do some more repairs.

Tidy and clean well organized auto repairing shop by a 100% friendly and considerably owner - Mr.Ho and his mechanic son & wife. Very competitive and reasonable prices for pairing to my value of 1998 "Senior" Sienna as it is required for similar original performance without any hidden costs. Best craftmanship for muffler replacement and air-con coolant recharging jobs! Highly recommend this honesty family operated business and crews shop.
