After two months of exercising at Club 16, I feel it's a company with ideals and a clear vision. It truly provides members with the best equipments, cleanliness, convenience, and rigorous management, allowing you to exercise without worrying about unwanted people. While the Staff is friendly, helpful and allowed me to get started at the gym quickly and smoothly... The facilities just do not reflect what should be required of a larger gym. So much of the equipment in this gym is useless and unused while there's very little of the equipment and benches that we actually need... What you end up with is a very inefficient and sad workout experience... You can't plan a workout day because people are crowding the few machines that people actually need. People scramble just to get one thing they need, and what you're left with is a bunch of people awkwardly waiting around to get on a machine such as the Pec Deck. While affordable you won't be able to get a timely workout done, and for most of us Time is what we can't afford. Until this gym actually invests in getting the equipment needed please consider looking elsewhere to save your sanity.

I felt welcome at first but not anymore. Paid for personal training, but getting no followup and the personal trainer isn't adding anything to my program on my app. I feel forgotten and not valued. I do most of my workout at home because I feel self conscious and this neglect makes it even more so. I paid outright for the entire year and I'm not getting what I paid for. I have also had issues logging into the app on my laptop. Online tells me to deal with it with the club I attend as there isn't any tech support division. Still waiting for a call from my location to assist. Been waiting 3 weeks

Disappointing and Embarrassing Experience: I’m writing to share my disappointment regarding an experience I had today at the Club 16 Trevor Linden Fitness location in Maple Ridge. I recently returned to Canada after living in the U.S. for the past two years. I am currently staying in Maple Ridge and consider myself local to the area, even though I do not yet have a permanent address. I have never held a membership with Trevor Linden Fitness, nor have I ever used a free or promotional pass at any of your locations. Despite this, I was denied a standard three-day pass solely because my driver’s license lists a Kelowna address rather than a Maple Ridge one. This was particularly frustrating given that your website allows users to sign up for a free pass without any indication that residency within a specific municipality is a requirement. The interaction itself was embarrassing and humiliating. I was treated as though I was attempting to game the system, when in reality I was a potential new member exploring a gym I may very well have joined. I am staying in the area now and expect to be in the Greater Vancouver region going forward, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Quite honestly, this situation has made me not want to sign up for a membership with Club 16 at all. It’s difficult to justify committing to a gym that is unwilling to offer even a short trial to someone who has never used your facilities before — particularly under circumstances involving relocation and housing transition, which are not uncommon. I wanted to bring this to your attention because this policy (or at least how it was enforced) cost you a potential member today, and it left me feeling uncomfortable enough that I don’t intend to return.

Amazing experience from the moment you walk through the doors to when you leave. Experienced fitness trainers, friendly and helpful front desk staff, clean, and well equipped facility at an excellent price point. Will recommend!
