Absolutely love Clinch MMA in Coquitlam. Coach Sal has been an amazing teacher for my 3 year old son, Kingsley. He is patient, encouraging, and so skilled at making training fun while teaching real discipline and confidence. The kids program is fantastic, and you can tell Coach Sal truly cares about every student’s growth. My son looks forward to every class, and I plan to keep him training here for years to come. Coach is the definition of capability, composure, and class. He’s a true warrior , skilled, disciplined, and confident — yet he carries himself with humility and respect. There’s a saying: “It’s better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war.” Coach embodies that perfectly. He teaches not only technique and toughness but also restraint and mindset. A true gentleman and a leader in and out of the gym.

I have been a member of Clinch MMA for two years, and I can confidently say it is a premier training facility. My experience has been so overwhelmingly positive that both of my children now attend the MMA classes as well. The gym's greatest asset is the caliber of its coaching, and instructor Sal is a prime example of this excellence. His knowledge is truly top-notch, reflecting a lifetime of dedication to the martial arts. He is incredibly generous with this expertise, and I have consistently found his instruction to be of a very high level. The private lessons I have taken with him were exceptional and significantly accelerated my progress. This sentiment is shared by multiple friends I've recommended to the gym. They have all enjoyed their time there and can't speak highly enough about Sal's skills, abilities, and coaching style. In fact, many were so impressed that they have also undertaken private lessons with him. I brought a group of 17 boys to Clinch for my son's birthday party. Coach Sal did a great job combining skills, fitness and fun while keeping them in line. He had them laughing and sweating at the same time. They had a blast!
