City Mobile Veterinary Services provides wellness exams, vaccinations, microchip implantation, and euthanasia for dogs and cats in Saskatoon and surrounding areas. The practice delivers these services at clients' homes, offering cost‑effective care that reduces stress and keeps pets comfortable. Dr. Abel Akon, a graduate of Assuit University Veterinary College in Egypt, has been providing these services since 2014 after joining the Saskatchewan and Canadian veterinary associations.

We are SO happy with Dr. Akon! My cat is normally shy and timid, but taking him to the vet clinic is a nightmare due to his aggressive fear response. We decided to try having someone come to our house for his check-up and vaccines, and I'm glad that we did. Dr. Akon made this the only vet appointment that has ever gone well for us. He was so gentle and patient that even after the unpleasantness of getting his shots, my cat was not afraid! Dr. Akon took his time and spoke to my cat with such kindness and respect, and my cat was friendly and curious in return, rather than fearful or aggressive. It was a very positive experience, and we will absolutely be using City Mobile Vet again in the future.

I would recommend Dr Akon to everybody. It was such a pleasure to have met Dr Akon on my first visit with Lacey baby 5 months ago. I had recently had an appointment at my house which is such a blessing to be in the comfort of your own home, Dr Akon was able to vaccinate my second fur baby and bring her up to date. This is the only veterinarian that I will ever trust 100%. Dr Akon has put me at ease with every visit along with both of my fur babies. Dr Akon is such a kind , gentle , intelligent man that does not give you any room for second-guessing.
