These guys are good at what they do. I brought work pants from construction that were contaminated with oil. I wasn't expecting much beyond the oil to be gone, but when I got them back they looked brand new. Will be back in the future.

I had a poor experience with Churchill Garment Care. I brought my down-filled parka to them for cleaning in early December. When I picked it up, the coat's insulation wasn't working. In other words, the coat was damaged and not able to keep me warm anymore. I went back to Churchill Garment Care, politely explained the situation, and asked them what they'd like to do. The owner told me that sometimes down loses its oil in cleaning and isn't warm anymore. I replied that if I'd been told that when I dropped it off, I wouldn't have left it with them. She turned her back and walked away. I was also told "we follow the care instructions" and they offered to dry it further, that maybe it wasn't dry enough. I accepted the dryer offer, and I picked it up later, and it still hadn't recovered its insulating properties (it was still damaged). My parka also smells clearly of dry cleaning chemicals. The care label says "wash only". I called again, and asked the owner to call me back. Ten days later, she hasn't contacted me. I understand that mistakes happen. A business that cares for their customers addresses the mistakes, particularly with an expensive and important item like a winter parka. Even a short "gee, we're sorry" would have gone a long way.
2026 update: I made a formal request to Linda Demeria and Bob Stucky, the owners, for a refund on the cleaning cost, and some compensation towards buying a replacement coat. They refused. It's odd, because a payment like that comes off their business taxes, essentially not costing them anything.

The service attitude is extremely poor. They don't know how to wash your clothes at all. The clothes are still dirty. They just hang a sign on them like a disclaimer, saying they have been washed. My clothes are still very dirty! And they refuse to admit it and refuse to communicate. The clothes don't have a clean smell either.
