This store went through a management change and has suffered ever since the only good barber, jordan that worked their left and the other people that work there are very unlikable.

I was walking downtown with my partner browsing local stores and barber shops, considering it was about time for a trim. We walked past Central Ave Hair and were greeted by the most splendid human being. She is immensely polite quick, efficient and cheap! Only took about 15 minutes to leave us speechless! Will 100% be coming back as a regular, keep up the great work Tanya!!!

The stylists are amazing as people and stylists. Very affordable. I always see Jordan for all of his awesomeness. Everyone there is great though

My boyfriend came here and got cut by Tanya, he's transgender and booked a mens cut online. Tanya insisted on a fringe, attempted to upsell him on hair dye, and ended up giving him a women's haircut that he didnt want. When it came time to pay, he was charged for a women's cut despite booking a men's cut and asking for a masculine style. Do not go here if you're transgender or otherwise genderqueer.

I'm a bit of a regular at this shop, come in every couple months once I feel like my hair gets too long. The place has a very nice, comfortable vibe to it, and the staff always seems to have a good music playlist on. Speaking of the staff, they're very good at what they do, and I always come out with a satisfactory cut and a smile on my face from the interesting conversations I have with my barber - Usually Jordan, who I like to think have a good rapport with -. That being said, the other staff are always friendly as well and I've enjoyed the few times I've been serviced by them. The location is excellent, with a number of restaurants and other businesses nearby (rather important due to my motion sickness problem, which incidentally the staff of Central Ave has been enormously accomodating of every time it's proved to be an issue) and the prices are pretty respectable as well. Couldn't reccomend the place more.

Gave a good cut at a good price, took off about a years worth of hair and I feel like a new man. Plus being able to book my appointment online was extremely handy. If you need a haircut check them out, just make sure to bring cash, they don't do debit/credit
