stopped by for an estimate and encountered a man and woman at the front desk, possibly a couple, who were bickering in another language when I walked in. The man was hunched over her at the desk during this exchange. The situation felt very unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. I stood there for about 25 seconds before being acknowledged by the woman. The man then grunted and walked past me, and he smelled strongly of alcohol. The woman came outside to look at my car for a quote. When I returned inside afterward, the same white-haired man was loudly yelling at someone else, who appeared to be a technician. I thanked the woman for her time and told her I hoped she had a better rest of her day. I chose not to proceed with any work, and it seemed she understood. As I was halfway out the door, I overheard the man make a profane remark directed at me. It was difficult to hear clearly, but given the tone and language used, it was deeply inappropriate and unsettling. Overall, the experience was disturbing and disappointing. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism. If the white-haired man is a manager, the owners should seriously reconsider who they have representing their business. I will not be returning. I will not be contacting the store directly to address this. I will be reaching out to head office to file a formal complaint.

The shop gave me back my car with front bumper and wheel cover not fully attached and denied wrongdoing after I returned to the shop the next day. I acknowledge that they did manage to resolve the issue after. However, what would cost them to admit that they made a mistake?

Terrible service, gave me my car with no coolant in hybrid system. When I called they said take it to the dealer not their problem. Now the bumper keeps popping out by the fender. Cheap parts I guess.

I went in requesting a personal quote stressing that the timeline was of importance and I was told that the appointment date would depend on shipment time for parts. Upon calling in for information about the quote much later (I was not called back) I was told they had no estimate on shipping times at all and that an appointment could not be made with a set date. Customer service seems much more suited towards business-to-business transactions as my visit was very unhelpful despite my intentions being very clear upon first visiting.

This Carstar is amazing. They gave outstanding service and the job was done quickly. I had my bumper replaced, which was quoted as a three day repair, but they completed it within 1 business day. The car was also cleaned upon return. Anna, in particular, was very friendly, attentive, and took care of our needs. Highly recommended!
