Franco has been a pleasure to work with. I got CaroTech to do a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle from a dealership and he caught some very important pieces. I am very grateful for his warmth, transparency, and support through what is an otherwise stressful situation (buying a vehicle). Thank you Franco & CaroTech!

Vehicle is a 2010 Jeep JK. Franco was available on short notice for a coolant leak repair, was easily accessible via text, provided frequent and clear updates on progress. Appreciated the personal walkthrough of the work performed. Would return.

Excellent service from start to finish. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. Everything was handled quickly and the quality of the work was great. Very clear communication and fair pricing. Just a great shop to take your car too!

I can’t say enough good things about Caro Tech. I took my first ever car (new to me, a 2007 VW Golf City Sport) there in July 2025 for a pre-FB Marketplace purchase inspection. The team was thoughtful, friendly, and walked me through all the key details I needed to know before buying. I brought it back to Caro Tech right after the handover for some post-purchase repairs, and once again, everything was clearly explained and the work was done at a very fair cost.
Even though I live in Central Vancouver, I will keep commuting to Caro Tech for service on my Golf. With the trusty “2.slow” engine, this car has plenty of miles left, lots of miles!

Beware of this shop. Buyer paid for an inspection prior observing himself and paying deposit.
Shop informed brakes need to be replaced, first stating 20% then 30% remaining and rotor replacement needed verbally. Shop indicated inner pads.
Rotors and pads were actually replaced 23,000 km ago. These are not organic pads; they are genuine OEM fitment brand. Rotors usually last past the first set and to the next second life of pads typically 50,000 to 100,000 km driving/usage dependant on driving habits and material.
Shop avoided writing metrics which was unprofessional; I believe it was intentionally not written and an attempt to have the vehicle serviced by the buyer or seller; possible collusion?
Seller inspected and took photos of all inner and outer brake pads and supplied receipt of materials including the date to buyer.
Buyer spoke to 2nd shop supplying images and details verifying service was not needed.
Buyer disclosed to seller, shop also explained a live leak. Buyers oil and transmission levels are still topped up from last service. No live leak found. Unless this detail was exaggerated or fabricated. Possibly this 2013 121,000km has a very slow leak somewhere. No fluids found while running or sitting on the vehicle or pavement.
1 lugnut from lr wheel not torqued after inslection
Vehicle was checked over last month as well.
Note: report has failed but shows no measurements for rotors and pads.
Buyer paid a deposit after failed attempts to low ball price from the report when seller contested with evidence.
Avoid this shop , best to make buyer pay inspection at bcaa.
2025 05 09 update
After paying deposit , while was purchased.
Note:
Shop could not read or understand the review , and gave a generic answer.
Shop did not measure rotors, pads, etc...
Shop fabricated a leak. There is no live leak.
Aggressively damaged my flex pipe shield further , evidence is in the video they recorded
Shop avoided writing details such as rotor measurement and location of leak (rear seal, timings area , etc..) which shows unprofessionalism.
Did not re torque one lug nut.
Seller stayed paid $170 for inspection.
