I had a very disappointing experience here. I first came in for a pedicure and the lady doing it was extremely rude. When I mentioned it to the person doing my acrylic set, she said it was probably because the other worker was hungry and that I was the last client of the day. I was there with my friend and we were both confused by the attitude we were receiving. Despite the uncomfortable experience, I still tipped well because I was trying to be understanding. Two days later, two of my acrylic nails broke and the polish was already chipping. I’ve had acrylics many times before and have never had this happen. I went back to have them fixed and the lady blamed me, saying I should have come in with more time the first time. I was very confused by this because I did come with enough time, and that had nothing to do with the nails breaking. Then two days later, the rest of the nails broke again. After only four days I had zero nails left. I work an office job, so this level of breakage makes absolutely no sense. I called back and asked for a refund only for my acrylic set so I could go somewhere else to have them redone. I paid for both my friend’s services and mine, and I never asked for everything to be refunded. I even told them they could keep the tip and that I would still pay for the other services we received. I was only asking for the acrylic set to be refunded because it clearly did not hold up. The man I spoke with was very nice and offered a voucher, but I politely declined and asked for a refund instead. At that point another worker came over and started freaking out at me, which made the situation even worse. I asked the owner if she was a manager and he said no, she just works there. If that employee hadn’t acted the way she did, I probably wouldn’t even be writing this review. Unfortunately between the poor quality of the nails and the way we were treated, the experience was very disappointing.

Going overseas. Went to CA for first time because its close to where I leave. That's a photo lease than a day later. Going to my regular place to do it all over again!!!!

I would not recommend this place because all I wanted was to get my nail colour switched just shellac and when she took off my previous shellac nail polish, she shaved my nails down so much that my nails are paper thin and have pressure. Then when she added the new shellac color she didn’t cure it properly so the next day it started peeling off in layers. Now I just have my bare nails that bend because they are so thin and they have never been like this before. This is my nails outgrown three weeks and I’m still in pain. This turned me off from even going to nail salons and I will never go to this one again, even though I live so close to it. Such a shame.

Cathy did an amazing job on my nails! She will definitely be my nail girl from now on! She gave me exactly what I asked for and exceeded expectations!
