I called for plumbing and since it was around 5:30pm on a Friday, I was aware it was after hours so I wanted to know the rates until Monday and the assistant was quick to say “If you can get an appointment for Monday…” so I asked if it’s okay to leave a clog until Monday and she said “I’m not a plumber, I wouldn’t know.”
No kidding, I’m not a plumber either but I know customer service. Found that to be an un-necessary rude remark. Will never call this company for advice.

Absolute horrible experience working with Noah Thon, "Business Development Representative" this past year. , I am a building manager of a 10 floor residential building in Downtown Vancouver. They were previously our mechanical maintenance contractors.
Terrible at timely responses, I had to constantly request updates on when quotes would be received. Often taking weeks to receive a quote. Upon receiving second opinions from other contractors for projects, we discovered that C&C's investigations led to expensive, unnecessary solutions.
As our building is closely tied to a public parkade, I work with the Chief Power Engineer. Recently, after C&C did some work for our building in one of their mechanical rooms, I was advised that
"They left debris on the floor in a freshly painted room, which indicates a lack of professionalism. If it had been a construction site, that would have been understandable, but this is a mechanical room in an office building. Additionally, their salesman (Noah) is not impressive at all."
They took a month to return to the site to re-insulate a pipe that they had worked on and ultimately they decided not to complete the work as this was "recommended this be done by specialized team to ensure it was suitable to standards." The Chief Power Engineer confirmed that he did not say this or agree to that statement.
We were also advised by Noah:
"Re-insulation of the PRV was not included within original scope. I only sent a technician to complete as I wanted to attempt to part ways amicably."
C&C had actually delayed re-insulation of the pipe because they insisted more work (that they happily quoted on) had to be done. When we decided not to move forward with the additional quote, C&C dropped the responsibility of completing the re-insulation.
So beware that C&C potentially may not return your site to original condition.

I had a very frustrating experience with this company.
The technician came to inspect my A/C, said the fan motor had failed, and told me the repair would cost around $700 + tax.
However, the actual part took over two months to arrive with no clear updates in between.
When I finally received the invoice, the total was $2,954, which is more than three times the original estimate.
The breakdown was shocking:
Fan motor: $1,747.33
Labour (4 hrs): $556
Dispatch fee (2 visits): $510
I never received a written estimate before the work was done, and I was never informed that the cost would be so much higher.
When I asked for an explanation and the supplier receipt for the part, I still haven’t received any documentation.
For reference, the average HVAC technician rate in BC is about $70–$80/hour, and a fan motor typically costs $200–$700.
Charging nearly $3,000 for this type of repair, especially with such a long delay is unacceptable and unprofessional.
I’ve already contacted the company’s management and filed formal complaints with Consumer Protection BC and the BBB.
I’m sharing this to warn others to request written estimates and detailed parts receipts before agreeing to any service from this company.

Epic fail. After months of water leaks throughout our building (Delta Rise), another trade was brought in and at least found some probable causes and reasonable, yet costly, remedies.

In our townhouse complex one of the units had a burst water pipe around 9 p.m. Alec came out at 2 a.m. early next morning to assess the situation and returned to begin repairs before noon. He hooked 3 of our units up from a nearby unit to provide water to those of us who had to wait until the water could be turned back on. He was very helpful and kept us informed as to the ongoing progress. We were expecting the job wouldn't be complete until the next day, as he was on his own. Amazingly he got it done the same evening!! I highly recommend C and C Electrical Mechanical for your plumbing needs. The service was outstanding!
