I’m very satisfied with Dr. Kim’s surgical skills and the kindness of the front desk staff. My dog had scaling and a tooth extraction. Last year, after scaling at another clinic, she was uncomfortable for about two days, but after treatment here, she showed no signs of pain and recovered right away. I had started to distrust clinics, wondering if the previous extraction had damaged her gums unnecessarily, but after treatment here, her condition improved significantly. I highly recommend this clinic.

Our vet is Dr. Leung, who is so knowledgeable and helpful, with a very calming presence. The vet techs are so friendly, and any staff I’ve communicated with for ordering food/supplies is courteous and expedient. The parking situation in this mall complex can only be described as arduous, and the only difficulty when popping in for quick visits. They do reserve 2 spots for their patients with a security person in attendance, so this is helpful when arriving & much appreciated as a patient.

I share this so other pet owners will be more cautious and seek a second opinion early if their pet is not improving. I deeply regret not seeking a second opinion sooner. My 13-year-old cat was seen at this clinic for constipation. At the first visit, bloodwork and X-rays were done. The bloodwork already showed signs of inflammation, but Dr. Leung only discussed mild anemia with me and gave subcutaneous fluids. In the following days, my cat was able to pass stool, but her appetite stayed very poor and her abdomen appeared bloated. I managed to get my cat back one week later for follow up check, Dr. Leung prescribed only an appetite stimulant and steroids. Over the next five days, I emailed the clinic a few times, reporting that my cat’s condition was not improving — she was still bloated and barely eating. In my first emails, I specifically noted that after vomiting up a puddle of water, her bloating improved slightly, but in my subsequent email I made it clear that the bloating persisted. I even attached a short video showing that when I pressed on her abdomen, there was a clear “fluid sound.” Despite this, I received no clear guidance about changing her treatment. The only suggestion was to force-feed her and wait for an ultrasound. On the sixth day, I rushed her to the emergency hospital. X-rays and blood work showed she had developed a severe infection, pneumonia, pleural effusion at the lung apex, a collapsed lung, and significant abdominal fluid. Tragically, euthanasia was the only option. Looking back, the initial bloodwork already indicated inflammation, but it was not addressed. I had trusted this vet fully and provided all of my cat’s past medical records, but the lack of timely action and communication meant that the critical treatment window was missed. Maybe Dr Leung is just not an expert in managing senior cat health. Therefore I will no longer bring my other cat to this clinic.

After receiving the price estimate for the examination fee, cytology and ear cleaning prior to the visit, I told the front office that we'd like to pass on cytology if it wasn't necessary when we were there today. Was told to speak to the vet. Asked the vet and the vet told us cytology was necessary to tell apart whether the ear infection was from bacteria or fungus. Found out that the product given after cytology was for both bacteria and fungus. Called to ask why cytology was necessary if product is for both bacteria and fungus anyways. I was told he wouldn't have proceeded without cytology (he did not say this when we were there though) and that it was necessary, and he could give a refund but if he does we cannot return to this place. I told him that works, and that I would leave this review in return. Overall, I think we were not given the option to make an informed decision. I would respect the vet's opinion, but ultimately the choice is the owner's. I think we should have been given the option to proceed with information or without information (whether it was from bacteria or fungus), since there was a product available that works in either situations. Otherwise, the experience was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

They did an amazing job. I had my dog undergo dental surgery and cleaning. She had her two teeth removed that were loose. Also, an epilus removed. I just want to say there is nothing better than proper teeth cleaning to keep puppy healthy. Vets are way more professional than groomers for teeth cleaning. We had a really good experience. Our dog was treated with the utmost care.
