There are not enough stars on Google to properly rate Burke Mountain Animal Hospital. They didn’t just treat my dog — they saved his life. From the moment we walked through the doors, the team acted with urgency, compassion, and total professionalism. The situation was serious, and they moved quickly, explained everything clearly, and treated my dog as if he were their own. You could feel that this wasn’t “just another case” to them. It was personal. What truly sets them apart is their integrity and humanity. They performed extensive care and procedures and refused to let finances stand in the way of saving my dog. The amount of work they did and the generosity they showed is something I will never forget. In a world where everything feels transactional, they chose compassion. The veterinarians were incredibly knowledgeable and calm under pressure. The support staff were attentive, kind, and constantly reassuring. Every question was answered. Every update was thoughtful. Every interaction felt genuine. Because of them, my dog is alive and home with our family. That is a gift beyond words. If you are looking for a veterinary team that combines skill, heart, ethics, and true care for animals, Burke Mountain Animal Hospital is it. They are not just excellent at what they do they are extraordinary human beings. We are forever grateful.

I very rarely give negative reviews, but in this case I feel like more information is better for pet owners. We chose this clinic based on the high reviews, and at the start things seemed to go okay. However, over time we started noticing strange things, like the vet will overprescribe on shots and medicine without fully understanding the situation or asking questions. Our dog became increasingly anxious and nervous going to the clinic, and since a particularly bad visit has started to show an aversion to people that he hadn't had before. We didn't know until we requested the vet records that they had forcibly muzzled him when they took him out the back - he's a high energy dog but has never shown any signs of biting, it wasn't mentioned to us when they had brought him back though he was scrambling to get back to us. After seeing the uncharacteristic behaviour from our dog, and his inability to warm to the vet despite multiple visits (which is very uncanny for him), we took him to another vet. Unfortunately he is very wary of vets now, which is heartbreaking as we tried to give him a positive experience since he was a puppy. Burke Mountain hospital routinely took him to the backroom where we had no visibility on what was happening. We also learned that our dog was missing multiple bottom teeth which had never been mentioned to us before from this vet. We didn't realise how rushed and unheard we felt here until we had a new experience elsewhere, and our pup really warmed to the new vet as well, suggesting he was very uncomfortable before this. I really, really regret not changing vets sooner. This vet clinic also charges fees that are 4 or 5 times higher than anywhere else (our friends did not believe the prices when we told them). The vet assistants have all been lovely but I would not recommend the vets at all if you have a nervy pet. EDIT: In response to the reply, yes our pup was showing more anxiety around sounds but not people until this encounter. This was stated when we brought him in for the appointment. He was nervous about dogs barking and noises behind closed doors, but did not show distrust towards strangers prior to this appointment. I also understand the safety of staff is very important. However if you feel that our dog is not cooperating due to fear, then it would be great to have been given the choice to figure out how to proceed. Restraining him in this manner does get the job done, but does not make already scared dogs any less scared. The vet, not mentioning the muzzle on return, did remark that Pie was jumpy but specifically also mentioned that he does not show signs of aggression or biting, so I'm still unsure why the muzzle was put on him. The missing teeth were adult teeth, the baby teeth confirmed to have erupted. The missing teeth were not brought to our attention when his adult teeth grew through in subsequent checkups, and so we assumed that everything was okay. We were willing to pay more long as our pup was happy here and treated correctly but it no longer became the case. As mentioned, the vet assistants were amazing and lovely, and we definitely will miss them greatly - this review is centred around the medical treatment for our pet. I do hope there's more empathy and care from the vet moving forward towards his patients, so they can feel heard about their issues and feel as though their dog is comfortable and in good hands with them. I hope he understands that these are our fur babies, and my heart breaks when I think of my pup being scared in the backroom with multiple people holding him down while trying to muzzle him.

My mother chose this clinic based on one of our friend’s recommendation and I can’t say enough good things about it. Friendly staffs, The veterinarians were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely caring towards our little buddy. They took the time to explain everything clearly and make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable and heard. You can tell they love what they do. We feel confident that our buddy is in the best hands here. Highly recommend!

Dr. Seifi and Dr. Sardari are both extremely professional and knowledgeable. They are honest, thoughtful, and never push unnecessary tests or procedures—you can truly trust that they act in your pet’s best interest. The entire team at Clinic treated our beloved FelFel with compassion and respect during a very difficult time, and we are deeply grateful for their care.

I can’t say enough good things about Burke Mountain Animal Hospital. From the very first visit with my two cats, Mitzi and Dave, their team has shown genuine care, professionalism, and kindness. My cat Mitzi had recurring eye and ear infections and had been treated multiple times by other vets with antibiotics—but the problems kept coming back. At this clinic, Dr. Sardari, who is clearly very knowledgeable, took a holistic approach, identified allergies as the underlying issue, and we finally saw real improvement. The staff are warm, gentle, and patient; they take the time to calm and comfort anxious pets (and guardians!). My male cat, Dave (a rescue with some dental issues and recent UTI), received efficient diagnosis and treatment. today I got the good news, his crystals are gone, dental health is improved and that the stressful dental cleaning procedure could be avoided altogether. What stands out: • The assistants and techs handle the cats with care and respect (no fear‑driven visits). • Clear, honest communication, Kudos to Makayla and Abigail for their prompt responses to emails and follow up calls after the visit. • Quick follow‑ups and genuine engagement with pet owners. no upselling of unnecessary procedures. • A pristine clinic environment and the atmosphere that puts both pets and guardians at ease. If you’re looking for a vet who will see the whole picture, who truly partners with you in your pet’s care, and doesn’t just treat symptoms, this is it. My two felines are in the best hands. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication.
