What a great place. I ran into trouble with my wheel bearing and could barely make it to Coquitlam. After talking to a local friend and checking reviews, I called Budget. John answered the phone and immediately made me feel like I could trust him. I told him my situation not knowing what the issue was at that time. He immediately told me if it could drive to come on down and they would check it out to find the issue. He told me, that if I didn’t like the price the inspection would be all that would be done. And before I could say my work schedule issue on-top of everything, John told me about their convenient after hours drop off. They got me in what seemed to be right away. He called told me the issue, sent a picture and cost before anything. All I will say about the price is that it was very fair and unexpected. Imagine being from out of town with out of province plates and finding a garage and great mechanics that don’t try to rip you off and charge you for unneeded work. Trust me it unfortunately happens and I was truly at their mercy given I needed my truck to get to work. John and his crew charged me only for the part and labour and even checked the other side for me in case. Oh and to finish it off I received a unexpected car wash from them. Those guys are great and any issue I have in the future I will be heading to Budget. Bill from Edmonton.

John and his team are the best!!! They've helped me so many times last minute. Always educating me on what's happening and why. John understands as a mom and business owner having a loaner vehicle is so important, he's always helping me out! I highly recommend budget brake and muffler on Westwood street. Top notch, honest, reliable service 👏

I have brought a number of my vehicles over the years to John and his staff. Let me first say as a woman who doesn’t know much about vehicles and the mechanical world, it can be a little overwhelming to know where to go and who to trust. But boy did I ever strike it lucky!!! John consistently shows that not only does he put his customers first, but he also treats them like family. I know when I bring my vehicle to him and his staff, the work will be done right and reasonably priced. He will let me know what is absolutely important to be done for me to be safe on the road, what should be done soon or what can wait. I trust his knowledge 100% and never hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

This team here is awesome!! We went here based on the great reviews and I can definitely see why they have such amazing reviews. We had our muffler replaced on our 1990 Toyota Camry. Mark helped us in the beginning and he gave us a great quote and in the end it was exactly what he quoted. Kye did an amazing job installing our new muffler and really put in an effort to do a flawless job. Thanks guys! You have a new lifelong client and I will definitely recommend you to my friends and family.

I decided to bring my mom’s car here last minute during the middle of my work day after the first mechanic she saw said they could not fix her left turn signals which weren’t working. From the moment I called to the end of our interaction, John and the rest of the crew had impeccable & genuine customer service. Him and his team explained everything to me, they were very transparent and they were very easy to get a hold of. They fixed my mom’s car within 2 hours for a great price. Honestly interacting with John & his team was the highlight of a really stressful day. They definitely deserve every 5 star review!
