Had the pleasure of sitting in Sonia’s chair. She is truly skilled at her trade. Her confidence, willingness to listen and advise on styling options put me at ease immediately. She never rushed the cut and payed great attention to detail. I couldn’t be happier with her work. Every other staff member I spoke with was also friendly, helpful and patient with my inquiry’s. Sonja cut and styled exactly as I asked after a thorough consultation. I recently relocated to town and have been on the hunt for a new stylist. I wanted to find someone stylish, comfortably stand out in a crowd who is honest and takes risks in her cuts who also happens to work in a great salon environment. It was the artsy vibe of the storefront that drew me in through the door but it was Sonja who stood out. I instantly loved her vibe when introduced after inquiring with another stylist in the salon about the cut I wanted. They all thought Sonja and I would be a great fit. They were right. Sonja is stylish, grounded and walks with confidence. She was also patient and willing to soothe my fears that she was experienced and capable - showing me photos of her work, at my request. Also, it’s important to say that English is her second language and yet met the challenge to explain her ideas to me in her second language. I dare anyone to try to make it work on the job in any second language. Great job, Sonja! I am relieved I found my ideal stylist so shortly after relocating back to the Okanagan. The salon is also vibey, clean and friendly. I not only will book with Sonja again but want her to succeed in building her own unique clientele as she clearly deserves. Each time I have been into the Bottega Salon I've had a great experience. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant and my Stylist Leiloni is exceptional. She has given such great advice and I am so happy with the results I've received.
