I had a very disappointing experience at Bonsor today. I brought my electric scooter with me, folded it, and carried it as I walked in. When a staff member (an Asian lady) saw me, she spoke in a very passive-aggressive tone and said I couldn’t bring it inside and that I had to leave. I replied “OK” and started gathering my things. However, as I was leaving, she continued following me and said, “Excuse me, I told you many times you have to leave,” even though she had only said it once. Her tone felt very condescending and unfriendly. I’m not sure if this was related to my race, but the interaction made me extremely uncomfortable. Most of the staff I’ve met at Bonsor have been friendly and helpful, but this encounter was the complete opposite. It was especially frustrating because I had already paid to use the gym. Overall, a very unpleasant experience and I feel like they need to do a better job on staff training :(

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend Coach Justin! My son took Patrol 8 with Justin, and we had a very positive experience. Justin is an extremely dedicated and responsible coach who explains swimming techniques and lifeguard-related knowledge in a very clear, detailed, and structured way. He sets high standards and is appropriately strict, which really helps students build strong skills and discipline. At the same time, Justin is great at connecting with kids. He maintains a good balance between being firm and being approachable, creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated. Under his guidance, I have seen clear improvements in my son’s technical skills, understanding, and confidence. I would highly recommend Justin to any family looking for a serious, high-quality swimming and lifeguard training experience.

Big recreational centre with many options to get fit or have fun. Just be mindful of your belongings signs didn't left me feel too comfortable, but we used squash courts an we had a lot of fun without any issues.

I think Bonsor adult swimming lessons are a joke. I had already taken their level 2 and passed in 2023. Now I just joined to look down in the water when I need to swim. I had complained about the one of the instructor as they were not demonstrating and didnt even told us about the exam when it was conducted. I want a refund as I did pass level 1 in 2014 and level 2 in 2023 at Bonsor Recreation centre Last day the instructor didnt show up so we asked Kayla substitute instructor if she was taking the exam. And she told of if you did well we can pass u in the last session. Then when I saw the result I failed level 1 is that a joke or you are just fooling people . I would want my refund for the previous classes. I also feel they need to train instructor more as it feels they are not interested in teaching. I will also be complaining to city and asking the authenticity of the swimming program. Also what is the credibility of the instructors Evan and Alexinnie
